AiM SmartyCam3 Sport Changes Racing Video

SmartyCam3 Sport has been designed to minimize the problem of image distortion (the dreaded wave effect) with its global shutter CMOS sensor. The camera shutter captures the entire image all at once, resulting in images that are not affected by the vibration of high-speed driving on track.

The SmartyCam3 Sport Sport has a choice of low-distortion lenses with a fields-of-view of either 67º (perfect for closed-cockpit cars) or 84° (wider for open-cockpit and open-wheel cars).

A Motorsports Camera Is Not Just A Sporty Camera

A video camera and lens specifically designed for motorsports must be robust, maintaining excellent picture stability, resolution and brightness despite the high speeds, vibration and noise inherent in racing.
