The Sparco Prime Spec 1 race suit is a USA-exclusive race suit that was designed to improve upon Sparco’s original top-of-the-line Prime SP-16 race suit. The first thing you'll notice is the new race suit's updated design. The Prime Spec 1 race suit adds two new multi-color options. In addition to the new design, the Sparco Prime Spec 1 race suit adds extra features like fully-floating sleeves, a waist belt, and internal pockets.

The Sparco Prime Spec 1 race suit, made in collaboration with the McLaren Formula One team, is the lightest FIA-approved racing suit in the world. The Prime Spec 1 race suit boasts unparalleled technological features created in Sparco’s R&D laboratories. This project involved optimizing every detail in terms of materials and construction. This includes an ultra slim zipper, soft seamless Nomex/Vicosa® wrist and ankle cuffs, the neck and shoulder pads were further reduced, and thinner thread was used with flatter stitching throughout.

The Sparco Prime Spec 1 race suit features three-layer construction using proprietary Sparco technology. The third outer layer is a double-faced mesh made from original DuPont Nomex Comfort® woven using the Kompact® system. This material contains a high percentage of antistatic fibers which provide extremely effective antistatic properties as well as breathability. The Sparco Prime Spec 1 race suit features pre-curved arms and legs as well as strategic stretch panels, giving the suit unbelievable comfort. The Sparco Prime Spec 1 race suit is available in two colorways.
