I really like the comfort and fit of this seat, however there are a few quirks in the installation of it. 1) the width of the seat fore and aft are different, therefore the side mounts(brackets) need to either be adjusted by bending them expertly (hard to do but I did try it anyway) or sliding shims (washers) between the seat and the bracket when assembling it to the brackets to take up the space. if you do not do this, then the sliders will be different widths in the front and the rear and make it EXTREMELY difficult to attach the sliders to the floor pan in your car. Once you figure this out, no problem. take it from me...step one is to measure the distance between the center of each hole (front and rear. mine were 16 inches each) in the floor pan and match that once you assemble the seat to the brackets and sliders outside the car. This will make your installation much easier. Also 2) the holes in this seat are in relatively different locations than the Sparco EVO seat I removed, so the seat sits further forward in the car then the Sparco did even with the slider in the rear most position. This makes getting in and out of the car a bit more difficult, but the safety factor outweighs the issue of getting in and out of the car. I am considering fabricating a sort of extension that I can design to put the seat in a more rearward location that will duplicate the position of the Sparco seat, then getting and out of the car should be easier. This is only about 1.5 inches but every little bit helps when you are a 70 year old person as I am.
