Sparco Meca 3 Pit Gloves The back of the Sparco Meca 3 pit mechanic's glove is made from elasticized, printed, scuff resistant fabric. The palms are synthetic scuff resistant hide, giving you excellent dexterity and feel with reinforcements positioned between the thumb and index finger. This new exclusive Sparco technology creates a single layer fabric which has the protection of what is normally achieved by a multi-layer fabric. The Eagle LT is FIA approved. Thanks to HOCOTEX®, the Eagle LT is three times more breathable than a suit produced using traditional technology. The use of this relatively thinner fabric along with large side and back stretch panels and 360 degree arm gussets give the Eagle LT ultimate flexibility and comfort. The Eagle LT uses at new stretch material called Eagle fabric. This Eagle Fabric is lighter, more breathable and abrasion resistant than the traditional stretch material. Traditional racing suits have layers of fabric sewn together with a quilted pattern. The quilting provides air space between the layers which bloats in a fire, this provides thermal protection to the driver. HOCOTEX® creates a honeycomb structure with internal air cells that ensure the driver even more fire protection. Traditional box quilting creates an average of 300 air chambers in a size 52 suit. The Eagle LT has over 60,000 microcell air chambers which provide a 10 to 12% increase in heat protection performance. SPARCO SKID SHOES The Skid driving shoe is a lightweight, unique design that has genuine ultra-soft leather upper with an offset closure system without a traditional shoe tongue. This design feature moves the potential pressure point of traditional laces from the top of your foot to the side which gives unparalleled comfort. The Skid also features a stretch rear collar for flexibility. It has a comfortable cushioned inner sole and an all-new slim rubber sole that is anti-slip, anti-static, and oil and fuel resistant. All-new anti-static pure rubber outer sole features a special texture for better pedal grip. The Skid is SFI and FIA approved.
