Lifeline AFFF Hand Held Extinguisher
$129.99
The Perfect Affordable Extinguisher For HPDE Cars
For HPDE participants, there simply is no better affordable fire extinguisher to protect your valuable sports car if things go sideways at the racetrack. AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) fire extinguishers are suitable for use on Class A (wood, paper, material & cloth) & Class B (flammable liquids: gasoline, spirits, diesel, etc.) fires. This Dual Class A & B rating makes the Lifeline Foam (AFFF) Fire Extinguishers far superior for use in your HPDE car and trailer vs. the typical big-box store extinguisher.
These are NOT approved or intended for use as motorsports-sanctioned fire suppression systems.
The Lifeline AFFF Handheld fire extinguisher is ideal for your road car, trailer, or workshop. While this uses the same extinguishing agent used in the Lifeline Zero 2000 systems, this extinguisher is not approved (rated) for use in motorsport.
Lifeline AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) is a non-toxic, ozone friendly fire suppressant that offers the competitor the same level of protection as the pros use. The vertically stored steel bottle is rugged and has an easy to read pressure gauge mounted near the handle.
All Lifeline hand held fire extinguishers are supplied complete with a bracket and two quick release straps for easy access.
Extinguishers are refillable and should be serviced every two years.
Choose from 1.0, 1.75, or 2.4 liter bottles.
Ground Shipping Only. Pressurized bottles cannot be shipped via air.

LIFELINE COPSE 6 POINT RACING HARNESS DETAILS
FIA Homologation: the Lifeline Copse racing harness is FIA 8853-2016 certified
Webbing: full 2" material is used in all positions. The benefits of 2" webbing has been known for a long time, and Lifeline built this harness using the latest technology and racing safety data.
Camlock: Lifeline uses a lightweight oversized rotary lever system to make release easy with gloves on. Also a very nice feature we noticed, is the ability for the lever to go "over-center" and stay in an open position. This may not seem like a big benefit, but we've all released a harness only to have the lever go back to closed, still attached to one belt. Lifeline mitigates this issue with a great racer-input design.
Waist Adjusters: typically only found on high-priced harness systems, the "Zip" enduro driver pull-down adjuster is spring loaded to always keep tension on the waist belts, no matter how much you move around in your chassis. What makes this an enduro driver favorite is that the adjuster clicks into the camlock. On a team with a 140-lb. driver and a 240-lb. driver, the adjuster is always in the same position. From an ITC VW to a Porsche GT2, you'll appreciate this detail on Lifeline's waist adjustment system.
Chassis Fittings: to make installation easy and safe, Lifeline included both bolt-in and snap-on end fittings. Lifeline uses a non-sewn/lock-bar system to make using the enclosed harness ends or wrapping around the cage easy.
Born of Quality: built by artisans in the UK, not just designed in the UK and built somewhere else. The Lifeline Copse harness is both designed and manufactured in the UK at Lifeline's ISO 9001:2015 accredited factory.
This harness is only available in pull-down lap belt configuration.

Lifeline Heat Detection Cable - Protectowire 356F - 180C
from $40.99
Heat Detection Cable Protectowire 356oF / 180oC
Priced by the Meter
Protectowire is an electrical circuit containing heat-sensitive materials. When the outer covering melts, the wires will make contact and complete the circuit, activating the fire system. This can be a critical extra safety feature especially if the driver becomes incapacitated in an accident.
MOUNTING:
Mount along the ceiling of the cabin using an "S-pattern".
Some additional wiring may be required between the Protectowire and your system's electrical trigger.
Use care to not crimp or crease the outer sheath and create a weak spot.
Keep away from heat sources including the engine compartment, transmission, differential, exhaust, direct sunlight, or hot surfaces.
Keep away from any sharp edges that could cut or cause an abrasion on the sheathing.
An inline plug can be used to disconnect the sensor cable during storage, transport, etc.
The cable we sell is set to trigger at 356 F (180 C).Currently, Protectowire is only compatible with Lifeline electric systems.

This is Lifeline's entry level AFFF system meeting most 5lbs suppressant requirements, however it is does not carry an SFI or FIA certification. This system utilizes a steel bottle with mechanical activation and employs two nozzles: one in the engine bay, one in the cockpit. It is best suited for open wheel, formula, and small-cockpit prototypes where space is limited. This system is designed to meet the need for a cost-effective, plumbed-in system that is more effective than a handheld (or waiting for track safety personnel).
Lifeline Zero 2000 systems are constructed using only the finest materials and are supplied complete with all of the components required for a professional installation. This system, like all Lifeline systems, performed supremely well in engine fire tests, and thus has the full acceptance of the MSA.

The Lifeline 106-001-012 system performs supremely well in engine fire tests, and thus has full compliance with MSA, FIA, SCCA, PCA, NASA, IMSA, SRO and SCCA requirements.Lifeline's range of FIA certified race car fire systems have been homologated by the FIA for use in International motorsport and has been awarded the homologation numbers EX.064.21. The FIA homologation requires that the systems be tested to the FIA standard for plumbed in fire systems. These tests were witnessed by the British Standards Institute and MSA.
Lifeline electrically discharged race car systems are activated by pressing a strategically mounted momentary push button. Using a military specification actuator to detonate the extinguisher, the actuator extends a steel pin upon activation breaking a frangible seal in the neck of the cylinder and thus discharging the contents. All Lifeline electrical systems have their own independent power supply called a power pack that has facilities for checking the battery strength and circuit continuity as well as giving a visible indication that the system is armed.
Lifeline fire systems are pressurized canisters and can be only shipped ground
