Competition Motorsport CMS RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid from $21.95
CMS RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid Real-Life High Boiling Point Without The Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 328º C (622º F), RF1 exceeds all DOT3 & DOT4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.) On the race track, brake systems operate at very high sustained temperatures, and there is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with Orthene, the brake fluid supplier to many teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series, RF1 Racing Brake Fluid was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days. The bottom line is this: you can spend more on brake fluid, but you can't buy higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid. RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details Typical dry boiling point: 328º C (622º F) Typical wet boiling point: 204º C (399º F) Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl oz) Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
Girodisc Pad Spreader GDPS01
Girodisc Girodisc Pad Spreader GDPS01 $250.00
Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader This indispensable tool is used by race teams, shops, and enthusiasts alike who have high performance four- and six-piston calipers. The spreader is designed to spread brake pads and pistons in four- and six-piston calipers to facilitate quick replacement of pads and/or rotors in a shop or racing environment. No more screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, or C-clamps! This tool will retract the pistons evenly and all the way back into their bores with one squeeze of the levers. The Girodisc spreader was designed around popular four-piston and six-piston calipers from Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, and other performance calipers in racing and road use. To help fit in any caliper, the amount of throw is adjustable.Insert the spreading plates one way for wider six-piston calipers, then turn the spreader 90o and use the plate sides for four-piston calipers. The Girodisc Pad Spreader is made from heavy-gauge steel and is powder-coated for durability. The slider is cadmium-plated, and nylon pivot bushings ensure smooth action. The Girodisc Pad Spreader will quickly become an invaluable tool for any race team, shop, or enthusiast who changes pads and rotors with any frequency.
A1-183 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors
Girodisc A1-183 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors $1,900.00
FERRARI 458 CHALLENGE This Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OEM front CCM rotors on the 458 Challenge, although a different brake pad with an annulus (pad swept area) of 66 mm or less must be used. We suggest the Pagid 8081, the most popular pad used with Girodisc rotors on the 458 Challenge. The lower-annulus design of the Girodisc rotors keeps weight low without sacrificing braking performance. The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from their own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads. Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed. Sold/priced in pairs.

Used for sprint racing and track days compound with all known types of ceramic brake discs. An ideal combination of cold friction, fade resistance and low thermal oxidation of the disc surface.
Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 8081
Pagid Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 8081 from $580.96
RS 14: Outside the track day environment, RS14 has shown success in short- to medium-distance circuit racing as well as gravel and tarmac rallying. RS14 offers very low heat conductivity, resulting in lower caliper and brake fluid temperatures. RS14 offers consistent levels of performance and much longer life than competitors' products without excessive rotor wear, offering the driver supreme confidence. The PAGID RS14 (Black) is a high-friction-value ceramic compound with very good modulation, high fade resistance, low heat conductivity, and a good wear rate up to a constant temperature of 1,200°F (650°C). It's kind on rotors, with visible grooving but no tendency to crack them. RS14 is our most popular ceramic-based friction material. It will tolerate much higher working disc temperatures than PAGID RS4-2, extending fade resistance. RS14 is used as an OEM material and supplied as an upgraded track day pad by Lotus Motorsport. It has been shown to exhibit optimum levels of braking force, control and modulation on popular track-day cars such as the Lotus Elise and Caterham 7.  RSL 29: Designed primarily for endurance racing, due to consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favor in the growing track-day market due to the high level of control, good cold performance, long life, and low rotor wear. The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  Based on the RS14, a slight reduction of the friction value improves modulation and longevity. The friction value remains high enough for cars without power-assisted brake systems, ensuring low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 1,100°F (600°C) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability, and low wear rates on pads and rotors is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability, PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels; only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. A favorite with endurance racers at events such as Le Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. This has proved suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures.
