Alpinestars Tech-1 ZX v3 Nomex Racing Gloves

The Alpinestars Tech-1 ZX v3 Nomex Racing Gloves are engineered for professional drivers who demand exceptional protection, precise steering-wheel feel, and lasting comfort. Developed with leading Formula 1 and endurance racing drivers, the latest Tech-1 ZX generation introduces an advanced dual-sided honeycomb construction designed to improve heat protection and breathability.

The new honeycomb Nomex top layer delivers nearly a 20% improvement in heat transmission performance compared with the previous generation. This enhanced protection is achieved without sacrificing the close fit, flexibility, and control that have made the Tech-1 ZX one of Alpinestars’ premier racing gloves.

Advanced Honeycomb Nomex Construction

The Tech-1 ZX v3 uses a breathable, flame-resistant aramidic fiber main construction with a bonded aramidic lining. This two-layer honeycomb assembly helps regulate temperature while providing the protection required for high-level motorsport competition.

The lightweight construction reduces bulk around the hands, allowing the driver to maintain a natural connection with the steering wheel and cockpit controls during long races and demanding track sessions.

Improved Grip and Steering-Wheel Feel

A newly developed 3D silicone print is applied across the palm and fingers to provide secure grip with less printed surface area. This reduced pattern helps preserve flexibility and steering-wheel feel while still delivering dependable control under demanding racing conditions.

Additional grip zones are positioned along the outer areas of the glove to improve contact with switches, paddles, and other cockpit controls.

Pre-Curved Fit and External Seams

The pre-curved shape has been increased from the previous version to better match the natural position of the hands while holding the steering wheel. This helps reduce material bunching, improves fit, and minimizes hand fatigue during extended driving sessions.

External seams remove bulky stitching from the inside of the fingers, reducing pressure points and improving overall comfort and sensitivity.

Touchscreen Compatibility

The thumb and index fingertip are touchscreen compatible, allowing drivers to operate phones, tablets, data systems, and other touch-sensitive devices without removing their gloves.
