Carbotechâ 1521â operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 800 F (426 C+). 1521â is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle or fleet vehicle. Carbotechâ 1521â is NOT recommended for ANY track use. Carbotechâ AX6â The AX6â is specifically engineered for Autocross applications. The advanced compound matrix provides an excellent initial bite, high coefficient of friction at lower temperatures along with very progressive brake modulation and release characteristics. AX6â is NOT recommended as a race compound in most applications. Carbotechâ XP8â A high torque brake compound with a wide operating temperature range of 200 F-1250 F+ (93 C to 676 C+). Carbotechâ XP8â is the first of our racing compounds. Good initial bite at race temperatures, high coefficient of friction, excellent modulation and release characteristics. Extremely high fade resistance and very rotor friendly. Perfect for track day use with any tire and can still be driven safely to and from the track. Carbotechâ does NOT recommended XP8â as a daily driven street pad due to elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotechâ XP8â is a great compound on the front & rear of most open wheel and sports racers. Carbotechâ XP10â When Carbotechâ unleashed the XP10â to the general public it immediately gathered multiple regional, divisional, and national championships. The XP10â has a very strong initial bite with a coefficient of friction and rotor friendliness unmatched in the industry. Fade resistance is in excess of 1475 F (801 C). XP10â still maintains the highly praised release, excellent modulation and rotor friendliness that have made all Carbotechâ compounds so successful. Carbotechâ XP10â is not recommended as a daily-driven street pad due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotechâ XP12â Another highly successful XPâ series compound with an excellent initial bite, torque and fade resistance over and above the XP10â compound. XP12â has temperature range of 250 F to 1850 F+ (121 C to 1010 C+). The XP12â has that excellent Carbotechâ release and modulation that has made all other Carbotechâ compounds so successful. The XP12â is more rotor aggressive than XP10â , but compared to the competition the XP12â is still very rotor friendly. XP12â is NOT recommended for use as a daily driven street pad due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotechâ XP20â The latest iteration of the highly successful XPâ series of compounds. XP20â is a step up from the highly successful XP16â compound. With an extremely aggressive initial bite, linear torque curve and excellent fade resistance the XP20â is another major step in progression of the highly successful XPâ series line of compounds from Carbotechâ . XP20â has a temperature range of 275 F to 2000 F+ (135 C to 1093 C+). Carbotechâ XP20â maintains our tradition of having the outstanding release and modulation that has made all other Carbotechâ compounds so successful. Carbotechâ XP20â is NOT recommended for use as a daily driven street pad due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotechâ XP24â XP24â is the pinnacle compound of the extremely successful XPâ Series of compounds engineered by Carbotechâ . So the CMS Performance S197 Mustang Roll Bar is designed to place your harness shoulder straps at both the proper angle (0 to -20 ) and distance to the driver. The rear kickers bolt to a strong existing bulkhead, requiring no reinforcement plates beneath the floor pan. Our use of state-of-the-art Docol ultra-high-strength-steel tubing throughout allows us to keep the driver's rear view unobstructed by diagonal braces, which also keeps weight down. A2-266 Girodisc 2pc REAR Brake Rotors GT4 ClubSport This high-performance product is built to meet the demands of competitive racing. Designed for durability, precision, and track-day performance. Engineered for Performance on the Track This Girodisc system is a 380mm two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination, a direct-replacement upgrade for the one-piece OEM GT4 Clubsport steel brakes. The A2-266 will bolt directly to the GT4 ClubSport and work perfectly with your OEM calipers. There are two main reasons for replacing your OEM rotors: first, the Girodisc rotors are designed to shed heat more effectively than the original rotors; second, the slotted Girodisc A2-266 will far outlast the OEM drilled rotors. When subjected to intense heat in a racing or track-day environment, the drilled holes in the OEM rotors originate cracks which can lead to rotor failure. When paired with the Girodisc A1-266 front rotors, your factory brake bias and ABS efficiency are maintained. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and RF1 brake fluid (also available from Discovery Parts), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.  The disc is manufactured from cast iron which is constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations.  The rotors curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.   The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes eight to ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance.  The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat.  The pins are secured by Grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor only replacement as well to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling. Sold/priced per pair.
