Its narrow angle lens is specifically tailored for seamless mounting in sedans and sports cars, neatly fitting within the A-pillars for optimal placement.

Loaded With the Latest Features

Built-In ECU Bridge: AiM's SmartyCam engineers loaded the AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa with features racers have requested for years, like a built-in ECU bridge. If you have a factory race car, BMW M4 GT4, Porsche Clubsport, GT3 Cup or Aston Martin Vantage GT4, you can now use your AiM SmartyCam Corsa stand alone and piggyback your ECU inputs. No external modules or additional wiring needed. Simple, non-invasive perfection.

Automatic On/Off: AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa can be switched on/off automatically by the dash/logger it is connected to: simply decide after what period of non-activity the camera will have to switch-off. Both operations can also be carried out using the front facing buttons also, if you prefer. Recording can also be started/stopped automatically or via keyboard: the camera will start recording when the speed or RPM threshold is exceeded. You simply decide how long after dropping below the selected threshold the video will automatically stop.

Designed For A Brutal Racing Environment

Never again will you experience that seasick "wave effect" you get when watching videos recorded by a generic camera, when the car rolls at 7000 RPM. The AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa has been designed for that environment and for those vibrations.

"Wave effect" is just a memory. Generic action cameras are designed to record videos in many different situations, such as skiing or surfing, but in motorsports they tend to record misleading videos. Those cameras straighten out the view ahead: when on track, the corners simply disappear. So, when you wish to check your track performance, those videos are useless, because the images are distorted. Being a camera dedicated to motorsports, your AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa features lenses specifically designed to avoid distortion.

The AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa is available in one of two fields-of-view: 67° or 84°.

Real Time Data Overlay

With no driver input, the AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa will automatically overlay on your videos all the data you need: speed, RPM, lap number, gear shifts and much more. Simply choose the data and the graphic layout you prefer in the huge selection of overlays available.

What Kind of Data? AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa overlays data from different sources on the videos themselves.

From GPS: track map and vehicle position, as well as speed, lap and split times.

From AiM data-logger/ECU: RPM, throttle, engaged gear, acceleration, temperatures, pressures and in the presence of additional sensors, also their values. All this info will be overlayed on videos in each single point of the track.

Smarty Manager 3 Software

With SmartyManager 3, AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa dedicated software, you can add your logo and the track map on videos. The wide choice of graphic objects you can select allows you to choose from a list of pre-determined sets with the same layout or to choose single objects from different sets. Now, your videos will be truly “yours” in all details, from data to their graphic layouts.
