Competition Motorsport is an Authorized dealer for GiroDisc products and we are one of the largest stocking dealers in the country.  We ship most products same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. Fits Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo The GiroDisc system is a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc.  The 2-piece floating disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly.  By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency.  The Giro Disc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces.  The reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and Competition Motorsport RF-1 brake fluid (also available from CompetitionMotorsport.com), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.  The disc is manufactured from cast iron which is constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations.  The rotors curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.   The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance.  The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat.  The pins are secured by grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The 2-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement as well to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling. Sold/Priced per pair.
A1-168 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (Gallardo Super Trofeo)
Girodisc A1-168 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (Gallardo Super Trofeo) $1,850.00
These Girodisc rotors are a direct replacement for the OE rotors on the Super Trofeo with the addition of the provided caliper spacers. At 380mm diameter, these Girodisc rotors are slightly larger than the 365mm OEM rotors. The Girodisc front rotors are 24.5 lbs vs. 27.0 lbs for the stock units. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight, high performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory brake bias and ABS effecitveness are not compromised. The reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration, better brake feel, and more precise suspension response. The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly USA-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from Girodisc's own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved-vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump forcing cool air through the disc. The disc and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured in the US by Girodisc and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the loads from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. They are secured by class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise springs on the disc side, allowing the iron disc to expand as it heats up while eliminating the rattle and noise commonly associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the brake pads. Once the Girodisc system is in place, you simply replace the cast iron discs when needed. This reduces cost over time by allowing you to re-use the aluminum central hats. Sold/priced per pair

Pagid Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 2931 $682.91
RSL 29: The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications. This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.

Buy 6+, Save $1 per bottle Buy 12+, Save $2 per bottle REDESIGNED BOTTLE, SAME TOP-OF-THE-LINE BRAKE FLUID Competition Motorsport RF1 fully synthetic Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to provide the highest, most reliable performance under racing and track-day conditions, where braking systems operate at very high sustained temperatures. RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.) There is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than brakes. And no single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At Competition Motorsport, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid on the track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got heated. So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with the brake fluid supplier to many teams in Formula 1, WEC, and many other professional series, RF1 Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at extreme temperatures and line pressures found in racing, track days, and spirited driving.   Bottom line: you can spend more money, but you can't buy higher-performing racing brake fluid!   SPECIFICATIONS:   Typical dry boiling point: 622° F (328° C) Typical wet boiling point: 399° F (204° C) Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards Individual 500 ml (16.7 oz.) bottles   Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
