Stilo ST5 GT SA2020 Offshore Composite Helmet Orange
The legend returns. The SA2020 Stilo ST5 GT helmet carries over everything that made the SA2015 version one of the most-loved helmets on the grid. Featuring the same tall eye-port and iconic side ports of the previous generation, the SA2020 ST5 GT from Stilo is worth getting excited about. This Offshore variant is already wired up for communications, and sports a bright orange shell, making it easy to spot.
Stilo ST5 GT SA2020 Offshore Composite Helmet Orange Details:
Manufacturer: Stilo
Manufacturer part number: DA0702BF2T
Color: Orange
M6 Nut Washer for HANS and other neck restraints
Rating: SA2020
Shield lock position: Center
Replaceable cheek pads: Yes
Sizes: X-Small - XXX-Large (54 - 64 cm)
This is a slightly heavier version of the ST5 Carbon helmet. It is made from a Kevlar Multi-Sandwich Fiber composite formed in an autoclave. It carries the same Snell SA2020 certification as the Carbon helmet, but the different material adds the weight. This different material yields a slightly heavier helmet, but at a reduced cost. The Snell SA2020 rating satisfies almost all racing sanctioning bodies’ requirements for helmet certifications.
Available with integrated electronics, top- or side-forced air supply, hydration, or any combination of the three, this helmet offers flexibility while maintaining a clean cabin. There are no wires or hoses hanging down below the helmet – everything integrates seamlessly with the shell of the helmet.
Features an M6 nut integrated into the shell to interface with Head and Neck Restraint Systems.
All Stilo shields are treated with an anti-fog treatment and they do require special care. The best result we have by far is the Stilo Visor cleaner. Liberally spray the outside of the visor with the cleaner, and wipe in a single swipe with a microfiber towel until clean and dry. If fingerprints or dirt remain, repeat as needed. A back and forth wiping motion will tend to leave lint from the rag on the visor, so the single-pass works best. Repeat if necessary, but usually, one pass works great.
Do not use Windex or any glass cleaner containing ammonia, as this can harm the anti-scratch coating on the outside of the visor, and the anti-fog coating on the inside of the visor.
Note: There are many things we can do to adjust your helmet fit. Obviously the best thing is to come into our show room and try on the helmets, but many times, that is just not possible. One of the great things about Stilo helmets is the adjustability with helmet padding. Crown padding, Cheek padding and different ear muff sizes are all available. Please contact a DiscoveryParts helmet expert at 888-748-7223.
Size Note: We have found that customers who typically wear a size 59 helmet are most comfortable in size 60, which uses the large shell. Please order accordingly.

All Existing Stilo ST5 shields and other accessories work on new ST5.1 SA2020 helmets
An effective helmet is one that fits properly. Have an assistant use a dressmaker's tape or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head, starting at a point about an inch above the eyebrows and around a point in the back of the head that results in the largest measurement, finally wrapping back around to the front. It's a good idea to take a few measurements and order your helmet based on the largest.
