The Arai SKV-R Karting Helmet is Arai's next-generation kart racing helmet, built specifically for the demands of competitive karting. Designed around Arai's protection-first philosophy, the SKV-R uses a smoother, rounder shell profile to help impacts glance away from the helmet instead of transferring force directly into the structure.
The redesigned shell lowers the visor attachment area to create a larger, smoother upper shell surface. The GP-VAS visor system combines a lower pivot point with full visor opening, while the lowered eye port improves the driver's downward field of view for better visibility of gauges, steering wheel controls, and kart-mounted instruments.
