A2-147 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors (C7 Corvette Z06) -
GiroDisc Racing Brakes & Technologies A2-147 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors (C7 Corvette Z06) $1,150.00
A2-147 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors (C7 Corvette Z06) The GiroDisc system is an upgrade to a 380MM 2-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination and is a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc.  The 2-piece floating disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly.  By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency.  The Giro Disc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces, the reduction in rotational and unsprung weight (approx. 8 lbs) allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and RF1 Racing fluid (also available from Discovery Parts), you have an amazing solution to cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.  The disc is manufactured from cast iron which is constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations.  The rotors curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.   The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance.  The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat.  The pins are secured by grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The 2-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement as well to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.   Sold/Priced per pair. Features: • Built for racing reliability and consistent performance • Compatible with demanding track environments • Designed for perfect fit and easy installation FAQs: Is this part track-proven? Yes, it has been tested extensively under racing conditions. Does it require professional installation? While not required, professional installation is recommended for best performance. Will this fit my vehicle? Please refer to the fitment guide or contact us to confirm compatibility. Can I return this if it doesn’t fit? Yes, as long as it’s unused and in original packaging.

A1-211 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors for Camaro ZL1 (Gen 6)
GiroDisc Racing Brakes & Technologies A1-211 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors for Camaro ZL1 (Gen 6) $1,250.00
A1-211 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors for Camaro ZL1 (Gen 6) FITMENT: Chevy Camaro ZL1 (Gen 6), Front The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc, but a different brake pad with an annulus (pad swept area) of 66mm or less must be used. We strongly recommend the Pagid 8081. This reduction in rotor annulus is done to keep the weight of the rotors low. The OEM rotors utilize a pillar vane design which is horribly inefficient in terms of dissipating heat. Since the OEM rotors heat-soak very easily, Chevrolet chose an easy solution to this problem: increasing the rotors' mass to combat that heat. We weighed an OEM rotor at 32.5 lbs. -- holy smoke! Girodisc took the functional route instead, engineering a shorter-annulus rotor ring for a total rotor-and-hat weight of 28.0 lbs. This design utilizes 72 directional cooling vanes for an incredibly efficient and robust package. The necessary pad shape is very common, found on other Camaro and Corvette applications equipped with six-piston calipers. If there's a specific pad compound you're after please contact us at 888 748 7223 and we'll get you what you need! The central hat section of each Girodisc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron constructed in the USA, made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement as well, minimizing future replacement costs and delivering outstanding performance. Sold/priced per pair.
