AiM Sports Installation Brackets for Tire Temperature Sensor Kit The AiM Installation Bracket Kit is designed specifically to mount four IR tire temperature sensors from the AiM Karting Tire Temperature Sensor Kit to your racing kart. The two front brackets are designed to mount to your kart's steering arm on the spindle, so the sensor follows the tire as you turn. The two rear brackets clamp onto chassis tubes. Because of the wide variety of kart chassis designs, some drilling, fitting, and/or minor adapting may be required to get the four sensors placed exactly right. The AiM Tire Temperature Sensor Installation Bracket Kit includes all necessary mounting hardware, including screws to mount the IR sensors to the brackets. Each bracket is made from heavy-gauge aluminum for light weight, rust resistance, and excellent durability. With some modification, this kit can also be used as the basis for mounting IR tire temp sensors to a race car. One hole in the front brackets is left un-drilled so you can drill it to match your steering arm. Installation of the kit will require drilling at least two holes 3/16" (5mm or SAE #8 drill bit) in diameter.
