D2-111 Girodisc Rear Replacement Rotor Rings
$880.00
FITS: FERRARI 458 ITALIA
REPLACEMENT ROTOR DISC ONLY, DOES NOT INCLUDE ALUMINUM HAT.
is an Authorized dealer for GiroDisc products and we are one of the largest stocking dealers in the country. We ship most products same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline.
The GiroDisc replacement rotor system is a direct rotor disc replacement for the Giro Disc 2-piece hat and rotor and no modifications are necessary.
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.
The 2-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement to minimize replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.

Kart Racing Helmet FAQs
Remember that safety is paramount in kart racing, and choosing the right helmet and maintaining it properly is essential for your protection on the track. Consult the professionals at Discovery Parts any time you have specific questions about your racing helmet.
Why do I need a racing helmet?Auto and kart racing helmets are essential for protecting your head in high-speed accidents. They also shield against debris and, in some motorsports, fire—making them a non-negotiable safety requirement.
How do I choose the right size Kart Racing helmet?Use a flexible tape to measure the circumference of your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Compare the measurement to the size chart. For more help, read our blog on how to fit your helmet properly at Discovery Parts.
Can I use a motorcycle helmet for kart racing? No. Motorcycle helmets lack the kart-specific certifications and features like proper ventilation and impact resistance optimized for karting. Always use a helmet rated for motorsport competition.
How often should I replace my kart racing helmet?Replace your helmet every few years depending on usage and the manufacturer's guidance. If it’s been dropped, involved in an impact, or shows signs of wear, replace it immediately.
Are expensive racing helmets safer than budget ones?Yes, typically. While both must meet minimum safety standards, premium helmets offer lighter materials, better fit, improved aerodynamics, and enhanced comfort, all of which impact race performance and fatigue.
How do I maintain and clean my kart racing helmet?Clean the exterior and interior using a helmet-specific care product like the Molecule Helmet Care Kit. Avoid submerging the helmet or using abrasive cleaners. Visors should be cleaned gently to avoid scratching.
Do I need to wear a balaclava under my kart racing helmet? While not required for all karting events, a balaclava enhances comfort, keeps your helmet liner clean, and helps wick sweat. Fire-rated balaclavas are mandatory in sanctioned auto racing and recommended for high-performance karting.
Can I wear glasses with my kart racing helmet?Yes. Wide eye ports, make it compatible with most prescription glasses and racing eyewear. A good fit ensures the glasses remain stable and fog-free.
Are carbon fiber helmets better?Carbon fiber helmets are lighter and stronger, reducing fatigue during long races while offering excellent impact protection. They are a top choice for competitive drivers.
Can I use a used helmet for racing? It’s not recommended. Damage or degradation may not be visible, and older helmets might not meet current safety standards. Always buy new from an authorized dealer like Discovery Parts.
What's the importance of proper helmet ventilation?Good ventilation helps manage heat and moisture inside the helmet, reducing fatigue and keeping you focused throughout your race.
How do I store my kart racing helmet between races?Store your helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a padded helmet bag like our Discovery Parts Evo Helmet Bag to prevent damage during transport or storage.
What is the difference between Snell K2025 and CMR2016 certifications?
Snell K2025 is designed for adult karting helmets, focusing on impact protection. CMR2016 is tailored for drivers under 15, offering a lighter helmet to reduce neck strain while maintaining safety standards.
Are tear-off visors necessary for kart racing?
Tear-off visors are beneficial in maintaining clear vision during races by allowing drivers to remove a dirty visor layer quickly. They are especially useful in outdoor karting where debris and dirt are common.
How do I know if my helmet is still safe to use?
Helmets should be inspected regularly for signs of wear or damage. If a helmet has been involved in a significant impact or shows signs of degradation, it should be replaced immediately. Additionally, helmets should be replaced every 5 years, even if no damage is visible.
Can I customize my kart racing helmet?
Yes, many manufacturers offer customization options for fit and aesthetics. However, any modifications should not compromise the helmet's structural integrity or safety certifications.

Race Technologies Racing Brake Pads
RT RE10 COMPOUND1
RE10 is the ultimate endurance race compound, offering a balance of excellent stopping power, low thermal conductivity, and extremely low pad and rotor wear. Utilizing the latest friction material technology, Race Technologies RE10 offers consistent performance in the most demanding environments.
Typical applications include professional endurance racing, club racing, and HPDE on high braking demand platforms.
RACING PAD NOTES:
Running a "racing use only" pad on the street could produce excessive noise and dust.
Rotor wear could be accelerated if driven at consistently cold temperatures or used in the incorrect temperature range.
Racing pads are designed to work in specific temperature ranges so it's important to choose the right compound for the environment the vehicle will be used in.
Pad compounds are tested on a brake dynamometer over repeated brake applications to test the materials in a controlled environment. Real-world wear rates and temperatures will be influenced by car setup, grip levels, track layout and other variables.
Note 1: "RE" denotes a "racing use only" pad compound.

Sparco QRT-R Gaming Seat: Light as a Feather, Tough as a Racecar
NON FIA or SFI
If you’ve ever dreamed of strapping into a high-performance race seat without needing to first fasten your actual seatbelt (because, hey, you’re at home), then the Sparco QRT-R Gaming Seat is your dream come true. With its ultra-light design, made for serious sim racers and track day enthusiasts, this is not your average gaming chair. It’s the throne of champions.
The QRT-R was the first seat to feature Sparco’s groundbreaking QRT ultra-light technology, making it the lightest “large” size fiberglass seat on the market. We’re talking about a seat so light, it might just blow away in the wind (but don’t worry, it won’t). Designed for the larger driver, the QRT-R comfortably fits a 36” waist and still weighs less than your competitors’ medium-sized chairs. Oh, and here’s a little secret: It’s not FIA approved, but since you're racing in your living room, no one’s checking for that, right?
Why Choose the Sparco QRT-R Gaming Seat?
Featherweight Champion At just a fraction of the weight of traditional seats, thanks to Sparco's patented QRT technology, this bad boy is perfect for both small cockpits and those marathon racing sessions where every ounce matters (in case, you know, you're racing against your sofa).
Big Comfort for Big Drivers Large drivers rejoice! The QRT-R fits up to a 36” waist with comfort that’ll make you feel like you’re in pole position even if you’re P7.
Aerospace Tech, Affordable Price Developed at Sparco’s Italian lab, this seat uses the same aerospace technology that rockets use. Well, maybe not literally rockets, but it's still pretty darn cool. And it's significantly more affordable than carbon fiber, offering an unbeatable strength-to-weight ratio.
Stay Cool, Stay in Control Thanks to fire-retardant, non-slip fabric, you won’t be slipping and sliding around during intense races. It grips where you need it to, keeping you focused on the road—or the screen.
Ergonomic Design Perfect for long gaming sessions, this seat supports you in all the right places, ensuring your back doesn’t wave the white flag before you finish the race.
Imagine This
The lights go out. It’s race time. You’re in the cockpit, gripping the wheel, sweat beading on your brow. The engine roars to life—well, okay, your console buzzes—and you launch into Turn 1. Every bump, every corner, it feels like you’re there. The Sparco QRT-R Gaming Seat holds you snug, ergonomic perfection keeping you steady while your competitors start to sweat…in their inferior chairs. By the time you cross the finish line, you’re not just a gamer—you’re a racer.

A2-166 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors (Honda FK2-8 Type R)
FITMENT: Honda FK2 / FK8 Type R
The Girodisc system is an upgrade to a two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination and is a direct replacement for the OEM brake discs. The two-piece floating rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly.
By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Girodisc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.
When used with Pagid or PFC racing brake pads and RF1 racing brake fluid, you have an unbeatable solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors.
The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron, constructed in the USA and made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer braking loads while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The pins are secured by Grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers .
The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor-ring only replacement to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.
Sold/priced per pair.
