SPA AFFF systems must be inspected and re-certified every two years. This service includes inspection of the bottle, dip tube and firing head; refilling with SPA AFFF fluid; nitrogen pressurization to factory specification; and FIA recertification when applicable. Additional charges apply if replacement of the firing head or other parts is required. Newer bottles with welded seams at each end have a much higher passing rate. If you have an older bottle, it is likely that the DOT will not allow us to refill it.
