This Girodisc two-piece floating rotor system is a direct replacement for the OEM cast iron brake rotors on the C8 Z06 Corvette. The Girodisc two-piece rotors will bolt directly to the C8 Z06 and work perfectly with OEM calipers. By upgrading your C8 Z06 brakes to these lightweight, high-performance replacements -- as opposed to a big brake kit -- your factory brake bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. These Girodisc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces, reducing rotational and unsprung mass for quicker acceleration, sharper suspension response, and better brake feel.
When used with Pagid or PFC high-performance brake pads and RF1 racing brake fluid, this Girodisc rotor system gives you an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors.
The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The rotor itself is manufactured from a proprietary cast iron, domestically sourced and made to the same specification used by professional racing organizations. The rotor's curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat are joined by a floating mount system utilizing 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in-house, then cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer breaking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws and hardened washers, mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise typically associated with floating rotors.
The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor-ring replacement as well, minimizing future replacement costs while delivering outstanding performance and cooling.

The Lifeline 106-001-012 system performs supremely well in engine fire tests, and thus has full compliance with MSA, FIA, SCCA, PCA, NASA, IMSA, SRO and SCCA requirements.Lifeline's range of FIA certified race car fire systems have been homologated by the FIA for use in International motorsport and has been awarded the homologation numbers EX.064.21. Lifeline electrically discharged race car systems are activated by pressing a strategically mounted momentary push button. Using a military specification actuator to detonate the extinguisher, the actuator extends a steel pin upon activation breaking a frangible seal in the neck of the cylinder and thus discharging the contents. This Safecraft Restraint Systems Kevlar Racing Net will change the way you look at racing nets. It installs easily and has the most sophisticated and easily-adjustable ratchet-latch tension adjustment you'll ever use. Specify installation as Left or Center/Right of driver, and SFI or FIA certification.
Some race sanctioning organizations require a driver net system for competition.
FEATURES
Available with SFI 37.1 or FIA 8863/2013 certification (+$40 for FIA).
Kevlar webbing.
Measures 15" tall (on tallest vertical strap) by 26" long (from point to back of web), with three 28" to 31" long straps to attach the net in the back.
Includes racing net and ratchet-latch tensioner.
Standard webbing color is black.
