The benefits of 2" webbing has been known for a long time, and Lifeline built this harness using the latest technology and racing safety data. Camlock: Lifeline uses a lightweight oversized rotary lever system to make release easy with gloves on. Also a very nice feature we noticed, is the ability for the lever to go "over-center" and stay in an open position. This may not seem like a big benefit, but we've all released a harness only to have the lever go back to closed, still attached to one belt. Lifeline mitigates this issue with a great racer-input design. Waist Adjusters: typically only found on high-priced harness systems, the "Zip" enduro driver pull-down adjuster is spring loaded to always keep tension on the waist belts, no matter how much you move around in your chassis. What makes this an enduro driver favorite is that the adjuster clicks into the camlock. On a team with a 140-lb. driver and a 240-lb. driver, the adjuster is always in the same position. From an ITC VW to a Porsche GT2, you'll appreciate this detail on Lifeline's waist adjustment system. Chassis Fittings: to make installation easy and safe, Lifeline included both bolt-in and snap-on end fittings. Lifeline uses a non-sewn/lock-bar system to make using the enclosed harness ends or wrapping around the cage easy. The Formula 2x2: Your Go-To Belt for Formula Type Cars The Formula 2x2 features Frontal Head Restraint (FHR) specific 2” shoulder belts, 2" non-adjustable Formula lap belts, and individual non-adjustable sub straps. Individual Sub Straps Make the Formula 2x2 Different The sub straps loop through the lap belts and latch into the shoulder belts. The classic “D” ring used in previous Formula belts has been replaced with sewn-in webbing, creating a more lightweight and comfortable fit. The sub straps are typically anchored very far rearward, almost to the lap belt mounting points. See Schroth Harness Installation documents for more details. This racing harness is typically used in single-seat open-wheeled cars with very reclined seating positions. OMP ONE 2" Versa 6 Point Racing Harness The super-lightweight ONE Versa 6 point camlock harness from OMP is designed specifically for sedan drivers using a HANS device. Special lightweight adjusters and compact lap belt mounting hardware are used to keep weight to an absolute minimum. Even the buckle tabs have been lightened! This Versa model is the ideal harness for endurance racing. The shoulder belts are 2" wide along the entire length for better alignment with a HANS device. Each shoulder strap has loops just above the adjusters for attaching radio cables, drink tubes, or rubber bands. The lap belts are 2" wide, and you get both a lap belt set with pull-up adjusters and a lap belt set with pull-down adjusters to suit all installations. The 2" sub straps also have pull-up adjusters for quick driver changes. The rotary camlock buckle is permanently attached to the sub belts by a rounded T-bar. Schroth Clubman 2x2 6 Point Racing Harness Schroth's Clubman has one aim: to provide a superior harness for people needing a lower-cost belt. The Clubman features Frontal Head Restraint (FHR) specific 2” shoulder belts, 2" Clubman pull up lap belts, and a T-bar non adjustable sub strap. Shoulders and sub strap hardware is wrapped in. Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness (Anti-Sub) 2028 Expiry The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness (Anti-Sub) integrates Schroth’s unique ASM (Anti-SubMarining) technology in a four-point system. The ideal harness for stock seats, or seats not designed for a pass-through for a sub strap, that are used in Driver Education programs. Schroth’s ASM is an extra fold of material sewn into the inboard shoulder belt, elongating at a separate rate compared to the outboard belt. This allows two movements: the upper torso can twist slightly, and on the rebound phase, the torso is planted firmly back in the seat instead of sliding under the lap belt. The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness is good for use with a HANS device or other Head and Neck Restraint (HNR). The ASM shoulder strap on the ASM is 3” width, which will work with any HNR. A dual or single strap can be added to convert this belt into a 5- or 6- point system. The shoulders are ready to wrap around a roll bar, and snap-in or bolt-in attachments can be purchased. The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness also features a “Flex Belt.” Instead of being sewn into the harness, the cam latches and end fittings are wrapped, making configuration changes from a Pull-Up to a Pull-Down configuration quick and easy.
