Schroth Porsche 991 GT3 Cup 2x2 Harness Shoulder Belts:
This is the first thing a Profi II racer is going to notice - the shoulder belts. Instead of going from 2" from the adjuster up and 3" from the adjuster down, the Profi 2x2 has a full length 2" width shoulder belt. At first, being a racer who does not like change, I wanted my same 3/2" shoulder belt. Upon sitting in a race seat and mounting the harness, Schroth actually improved on something I though did not need improvement. Easy to lay up on my Hans device, are a little lighter, and the new small adjusters are nice. Actually, really nice. I like the new lightweight adjusters better than my Profi II. This is a nice upgrade I did not know needed upgrading.
The shoulder belt camlock ends are still keyed (angled) for individual left and right to keep driver comfort at a maximum, no matter how large or small the driver is. We love this feature on all Schroth belts.
Schroth Porsche 991 GT3 Cup 2x2 Harness Waist Belts:
Featuring a perfect sewn-in waist belt to chassis fitting, the Schroth Porsche waist belt fits perfectly. Everything is in the perfect position and legal for all competition you may see, even the 24 Hours of LeMans. Below is an image of your sewn-on waist belt to chassis fitting.

All Schroth Flexi Belts are 2" (50mm) wide and are more effective that the 3" (75mm) waist belt. Why is 2" webbing more effective than 3" webbing? Let's start looking at the shape of our human body. The Iliac Crest (IC) is the part of the pelvic bone that sticks out above the hips. 2" webbing fits entirely within the recession created by the Iliac Crest where 3" webbing rides over the top of the Iliac Crest. Because of this, the 3" webbing has less contact area by percentage than the 2" webbing which will cause more bruising during an impact where the belt is making contact with the pelvic bone. Since the 2" webbing rides inside the Iliac Crest, it can be worn as much as 1" to 1.5" tighter and at the same time is more comfortable for the driver.
Since the 2" webbing fits well within the Iliac Crest of the pelvis, it is less likely to slide up above the crest and cause submarining, a condition where the body slides down below the lap belt possibly causing internal organ damage.
Research shows that the faster the pelvis is captured, the lower the resultant loads on the chest, head, and neck. There is no difference in the strength of the 2" webbing vs the 3" webbing. All webbing - 2" or 3" - must meet the same FIA homolgation test loads.
There is an additional benefit of the 2" lap belts. The required force to properly and tightly adjust the belts in the car is much easier than with 3" belts. We here at DiscoveryParts love and prefer the Schroth 2" waist belt system.
Schroth Porsche 991 GT3 Cup 2x2 Harness Camlock:
Different or the same? The buckle looks like our old reliable Schroth Profi cam lock in non-glare matte black, and looks and feels the same externally. The only upgrade is a different amount of force required to turn the buckle. It is solidly positioned and has a very sharp snap when releasing. Nothing too drastic, if you start turning the camlock (in either direction) it just is tight, tight, tight, and boom - released. Actually there is no boom, it just releases cleanly.
Schroth Porsche 991 GT3 Cup 2x2 Harness Sub-Belt:
Schroth Flexi 2x2 6 point harness has a dual sub strap system with T bar camlock connection. For comfort, Schroth uses a double dog leg fabric style that lets the flat part of the belt touch you, not the side. Safety is #1 with Schroth and comfort is elevated beyond any other harness competitor. Going back to safety, the buckle position is not just important, but paramount. For the loading of the belts to be properly spread over your pelvis, Iliac crest, and upper torso, we need the buckle to be positioned correctly on the driver. To help position the belt easily the first time and quickly fine-tune the position for a multiple driver car, Schroth added two adjusters for you. Sub-belt install time of a Schroth harness is 70% less than competitor harness sets.

Ferodo DS3.12 Brake Compound Details:
The Ferodo DS3.12 is a track only compound with the flattest torque curve across the largest temperature range with very high torque. The Ferodo DS3.12 is identified with production code "G" and is the latest evolution in the Ferodo's DS track-only brake pad line. Designed for Hyper, Super and modern sports cars that have increased horsepower, more aero, higher curb weight, and stickier tires. These attributes all place greater demands on the vehicle’s ABS system.
The Ferodo DS3.12 is the modern pad compound designed from the start to explicitly handle those demands. Out of all the pad compounds we have ever tested, even from manufacturers, the DS3.12 shows the flattest torque curve across the broadest temperature range. That means that on every turn, on every track you drive, on every lap, your brake pedal is going to feel almost exactly the same, providing tremendous consistency and repeatability.
The DS3.12 has a higher mu than all of Ferodo’s other compounds, so not as much leg pressure is required to initiate the desired response. It is also unfadable, showing no drop in performance at any temp your brakes will ever see. In dyno testing, the DS3.12 has shown superior wear rates to the other Ferodo compounds, while remaining kind to the discs. We believe the DS3.12 will become the gold standard to which other race compounds will be compared.

RSL 29:
The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport. The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races.
Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications.
This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures.
Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.

Ferodo FCP4712H BMW F87 Front Brake Pad Set
Fitting the front of the BMW F87 M2, the Ferodo FCP4712H in the DS3.12 compound brake pad has the flattest torque curve across the largest temperature range with very high torque for repeatable stops, lap after lap.
Ferodo Brake Compound Details:
DS3.12Released in 2019, the DS3.12 represents the latest advancement in Ferodo's renowned DS line. In the realm of sports cars, the demands placed on brake systems have intensified, with increased horsepower, sophisticated aerodynamics, higher curb weights, and stickier tires. Addressing these demands head-on, the Ferodo DS3.12 is a modern pad compound meticulously designed to cater explicitly to these challenges. Extensive testing has revealed that, among all pad compounds from various manufacturers, the DS3.12 exhibits the most consistent torque curve across a wide temperature range. Consequently, whether you're tackling turns, driving on any track or completing lap after lap, the brake pedal response remains remarkably consistent, offering exceptional reliability and repeatability. With a higher mu (friction coefficient) compared to Ferodo's other compounds, the DS3.12 requires less leg pressure to initiate the desired braking performance. Furthermore, it exhibits superior fade resistance, ensuring optimal performance at any temperature your brakes may encounter. Dyno testing has demonstrated that the DS3.12 maintains superior wear rates while being gentle on the discs. As a result, we anticipate the DS3.12 will establish itself as the benchmark against which other race compounds are measured.DS1.11The DS1.11, in contrast to the DS3.12, possesses a lower mu at all temperatures, making it a moderate mu pad in the realm of endurance racing compounds. It necessitates greater pedal force compared to the DS3.12 and exhibits a slight decline in torque as temperatures rise. Consequently, as you push deeper into a turn with increasing heat, you may find yourself applying more pressure on the brake pedal to achieve the same response—a sensation preferred by some drivers. Certain drivers find the DS1.11 to be more manageable when using street tires, particularly as it is less prone to activating the ABS system. While the DS1.11 offers a longer lifespan compared to many other pad compounds on the market, it falls slightly short of the longevity of the DS3.12. When maintained with a proper pad transfer layer, it remains gentle on discs even at elevated track temperatures. While the DS1.11 boasts excellent maximum temperature tolerance and fade resistance, it does not quite reach the same levels as the DS3.12. To date, we have not received reports of fading issues with the DS1.11, and most individuals differentiate between the DS1.11 and DS3.12 based on their respective tactile experiences.DS2500While we always recommend using dedicated race pads for track use, the DS2500 stands out as one of the premier hybrid street/track pads available. It combines the advantages of a track pad, such as a moderately high bite and solid fade resistance, with the comparatively lower levels of dust and noise typically associated with street pads. As a street pad, it may produce some squealing noise in specific vehicle applications, particularly when driven aggressively. For individuals who engage in spirited street driving, canyon runs, autocross, and occasional light track duty on street tires, the DS2500 is hard to surpass. However, when employed on the track by cars weighing over 3,000 lbs., featuring high horsepower and R Compound tires, the DS2500 tends to exhibit significantly higher wear rates compared to Ferodo Racing's other compounds. If extended wear rates are a priority under these conditions, Essex recommends considering the Ferodo DS1.11 or DS3.12 as alternatives.

Ferodo DS1.11 Brake Compound Details:The Ferodo DS1.11 is a long duration endurance pad with an incredible flat torque curve across the workable range of 392 to 1382 . Designed to put you on the podium of your next World Racing League race, the Ferodo DS1.11 is a track only pad that is designed for repeatable stopping performance and feel across a very wide temperature spectrum. The Ferodo DS1.11 brake compound makes the chassis repeatable in every brake zone, lap after lap. The cold friction profile of the Ferodo DS1.11 is predictable and grows linear as your pad heats up with very good fade resistance all the way to its maximum 1382 F limit. Another common use of the Ferodo DS1.11 is an advanced track day driver in the red group in a well set-up chassis with sticky rubber and aero.

Girodisc
D2-171 Girodisc Rear Rotor Ring Replacements
$600.00
REPLACEMENT ROTOR RINGS ONLY. INCLUDES NEW INSTALLATION HARDWARE. DOES NOT INCLUDE ALUMINUM HATS.
Discovery Parts is an authorized dealer for Girodisc products. As one of the largest stocking dealers in the country, we ship most Girodisc products the same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline.
These Girodisc replacement rotor rings are direct replacements for the iron discs on your Girodisc two-piece rotors, and no modifications are necessary. New cap screws and washers are included with these replacement rotors. We do not recommend re-using the old hardware.
The replacement rotor rings and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.
The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor ring-only replacement to minimize replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.
Sold/priced per pair.
