Ferodo DS2500 Brake Compound Details:The Ferodo DS2500 is the best hybrid street and track day pad available. Designed for driving on the street, mountain runs and light track day with a stable average friction coefficient of 0,41 over a wide working temperature range of 32 to 932 F, (0 to 500 C)Featuring a moderately high initial bite and the solid fade resistance of a trackpad, but with relatively low dust and noise levels of a street pad. When the Ferodo DS2500 is used as a street pad, it can produce some squeal on most vehicle platforms. The most common use of the Ferodo DS2500 is mountain runs, autocross, and some light track duty on street tires in colder temperatures. When used on track on heavy (3,000+ lbs.+) track cars with high horsepower and R Compound tires, the DS2500 pad wear rates tend to be considerably higher vs. Ferodo Racing's other compounds. Do not expect to win the WRL GTU class on Ferodo DS2500 brake pads, but it is the perfect dual purpose street and light track day pad.

PFC 01 COMPOUND
The Performance Friction PFC 01 compound is the standard by which all other racing brake pads are judged. The PFC 01 has a very high initial bite and torque, with very little temperature-induced torque rise. At the end of braking, less torque scatter exists for improved modulation and excellent release.
With its low-wear characteristics and excellent disc conditioning properties, it's no wonder the PFC 01 compound has won more World and National Championships than any other brake pad on the market!
PFC 11 Compound
A new-generation sprint and medium distance friction material, giving you the ultimate in control with superior disc conditioning. Developed from PFC 01 compound with improved bite, modulation, and release characteristics. It is ultra smooth and developed to reduce wheel locking at the end of braking while giving more cold and hot bite than the endurance oriented 08 compound. Brake with confidence; brake with ultimate control and modulation.
PFC 13 Compound
The new generation of ultimate high bite-high friction. Performance Friction's 13 compound has been developed with increased bite, modulation, with superior disc conditioning and release characteristics for exceptional control. Ultra-smooth and great for tracks with high grip or high downforce cars. It is the ultimate combination of high bite and infinite control. Ideal use where high bite in the first third of the stop is desired. 13’s wear is on a par with PFC’s legendary 01 compound and will operate at higher temperatures if called to. 13 has a very high threshold for fade resistance. Out of all the high bite, high torque pads on the market 13 has shown to have one of the lowest taper wear in a properly designed race caliper.
