SAFETY IS CMS PERFORMANCE FIRST PRIORITY
Safety is the main reason to install a roll bar in the first place. As racers themselves, CMS Performance sweat the details. That's why they use 1.75" x .095" Docol R8. Docol is 15% stronger than 4130 CrMo, and much less brittle. Docol R8 also dissipates impact energy more effectively. It's the same tubing used in full-competition road racing roll cages because, first and foremost, it's a roll bar not a trim piece.
The beefy main hoop of the CMS Performance Gen 5 Camaro Roll Bar straddles the rear seat cross member, a much stronger location than the rear footwell, eliminating the need for underbody backing plates. Taking a cue from NHRA cage design, the diagonal supports feature a concave design to allow full front-seat travel while distributing roll-over energy between the main hoop and kickers. The harness cross-bar is precisely located to put your shoulder straps at both the proper angle (0 to -20 ) and distance to the driver. Finally, the rear kickers bolt to a reinforced corner of the rear seat floor, again requiring no backing plates beneath the floor pan.
A clear rear view is a safety concern. CMS Performance uses stronger materials and innovative design, making it safe to keep your rear view unobstructed by additional bracing. CMS Performance operates a complete powder-coating facility to offer you color-matched Camaro factory colors, giving your Camaro a personalized look that will last1.
None of your interior trim panels need to be eliminated or cut. Your rear seat back can be re-installed, or you can opt for our custom Shrader rear seat delete, the perfect place to put a track bag, helmet and HANS, driver cooling system, etc. (you can hide stuff under there, too). If you ever want to put your car back to stock, it will go back together as though the roll bar was never there.
Complete, detailed instructions make installation pretty simple (figure about two hours if you're reasonably handy), and all Grade 8 hardware needed is shipped with your CMS roll bar. Add Racing Harnesses and a Head-And-Neck Restraint and and you're ready to hit the track safe and secure.

Originally designed for professional racing teams competing in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Grand Sport (GS) class, the Forgeline GS1R combines the latest in advanced wheel technology, including one piece forged monoblock construction, with motorsport-engineered design and I-beamed spokes. This result is a wheel is fully engineered to withstand the rigors of top-level endurance racing. With a 2100-lbs. street tire load rating and exceptional deflection stiffness, the GS1R remains incredibly lightweight.
Made from the same forgings and similar design as Forgeline's legendary GA1R wheel, the GS1R employs a new chamfered outer lip with fewer sharp edges for easier handling.
FORGELINE VX1R
With the striking good looks of Forgeline's popular VX1 street wheel, but with a load rating suitable for dedicated track duty, the VX1R was engineered for beauty and braun! It is a full track-ready competition wheel equal in strength to Forgeline's famous GA1R and GS1R Competition Series wheels.
The VX1R features a sharp Y-spoke design with long spokes that flow into the center lock, striking sharp angles, a deep concave profile, and a chamfered outer edge. Beyond just beautiful style, the VX1R is engineered to allow plenty of room for caliper clearance and extreme brake fitment. And the one-piece monoblock forging and computer-simulated FEA design process yield a wheel that is lightweight, stiff, and has excellent fatigue strength.

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc. No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. These Girodisc rear rotors are approx 18.8 lbs. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.
The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly USA-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from Girodisc's own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved-vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump forcing cool air through the disc.
The disc and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured in the US by Girodisc and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the loads from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. They are secured by class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers.
In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise springs on the disc side, allowing the iron disc to expand as it heats up while eliminating the rattle and noise commonly associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the brake pads.
Once the Girodisc system is in place, you simply replace the cast iron discs when needed. This reduces cost over time by allowing you to re-use the aluminum central hats.

The GiroDisc replacement rotor system is a direct rotor disc replacement for the OEM 2-piece hat and rotor and no modifications are necessary.
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.
The 2-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement to minimize replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.
