IPD helps scratch the proverbial performance itch for Porsche drivers looking to elevate the already visceral driving experience to the next level. The 3.8L engine in the 991 Carrera S, GTS, and 4S is relatively unchanged from the previous 997.2 Carrera S, continuing to employ the 82mm throttle body. IPD's new specifically-designed 3.8L DFI Carrera S intake plenum is a direct bolt-on upgrade that replaces the factory air distributor and utilizes all pre-existing factory hardware including that OE factory throttle body.
