A2-166 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors (Honda FK2-8 Type R) FITMENT: Honda FK2 / FK8 Type R The Girodisc system is an upgrade to a two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination and is a direct replacement for the OEM brake discs. The two-piece floating rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Girodisc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC racing brake pads and RF1 racing brake fluid, you have an unbeatable solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron, constructed in the USA and made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer braking loads while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The pins are secured by Grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers . The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor-ring only replacement to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling. Sold/priced per pair. Forgeline GA3 The Forgeline GA3 is the Performance Series street version of the popular, race-proven GA3R. (The GA3R is maybe a little too hardcore for the street; the GA3 derivative is the perfect compromise.) The GA3 adds material to the center of its racing counterpart, allowing use of our standard center cap. And it uses stainless steel (rather than titanium) ARP assembly hardware. Forgeline's I-beamed spoke technology reduces weight and applies additional strength and rigidity within the spokes of the wheel. The hidden ARP assembly hardware delivers a smooth clean look and makes wheel cleaning faster and easier. The design of the GA3 center allows plenty of room for caliper clearance and extreme brake fitment. And they have employed a new proprietary fast-drying super-strength sealer that is highly resistant to leaks and allows for quick and easy repairs. This seat retains Racetech's unique, patented back mount design to give the driver ultimate support and feel for the chassis not available in basic floor-mounted seats. Customize your seat further with low base cushions or add side cushions for support in the thigh area. These Racetech 119 seats without head restraints are not FIA homologated. Racetech RT9119 Lightweight Racing Seat Building upon the successful 129 series, the Racetech RT9119 racing seat offers the same ergonomic form and incredible features in a lighter and more protective package. Used by many professional teams at both the national and international levels, this is the lightweight version using a precise combination of carbon and Kevlar hybrid weave to achieve a shell weights as low as 9.9 lbs. (4.5kg). Four sizes are available: Standard, Wide, Tall, and Wide & Tall. You can further customize your seat with low-profile base cushions, or by adding side cushions for support in the thigh area. Racetech 119-Series seats (except the WHR) are compliant with FIA 8855-1999 standards1. Racetech RT9119 Lightweight Racing Seat BRACKETS AND MOUNTING OPTIONS: Side mount to the floor using the Racetech RTB1009M 5mm aluminum brackets (available in the drop-down above). Back mount using the RTB2115B bracket in conjunction with the RTB2005C clamps. The RTB2115B is a 5mm aluminum bracket that bolts directly to the shoulder beam of the seat. The RTB2005C clamps bolt to the RTB2115B and come in three variants: 11/2 inch (38mm), 15/8 inch (41mm), or 13/4 inch (45mm) ID to suit your roll cage tubing diameter. Note 1: In order to comply with FIA 8855-1999, Racetech 119-Series seats must be back-mounted to the roll cage at shoulder level.
