The Shield Tech line of Nomex undergarments provides the highest level of protection and technology for comfort and breathability. The Shield Tech is homologated to the newest FIA standard 8856-2018 which provides the highest fire protection. When designing this new line of undergarments, Sparco studied the drivers seating position to ensure ultimate fit and comfort. Strategic weaving of the material produces increased breathability along with articulation.
Shield Tech uses a seamless construction with ultra-soft stretchable material. There are two different woven materials in key areas; thin stretch for comfort and mobility as well as a double perforated panels for increased breathability. The minimal seams are stitched flat with thin specialized thread for added comfort.
All Shield Tech pieces are treated with Sparco’s X-Cool treatment, which draws heat from the body surface to cool the driver. In addition to cooling the driver, X-Cool treatment has an anti-bacterial effect.

A Note on Cleaning Anti-Fog/Anti-Scratch Shield
Anti-scratch/anti-fog shields require special care in order to preserve the coatings on the inside of the shield. Only use Acrysol Shield Cleaner to clean your shield, inside and out. Do not use glass cleaner containing ammonia (like Windex) as this can harm both the anti-scratch coating on the outside of the visor and the anti-fog coating on the inside. In a pinch, you're better off using water and a clean microfiber cloth to gently clean your Stilo shield.

Our break-away adaptors are independent of the current shirt connectors so that they can be placed in a location on the tubing that is best to break away in an emergency situation. These are designed to be connected and disconnected thousands of times, unlike other brands.This latch design prevents unintentional release under standard operating conditions but allows for hands-free release in an emergency. Measuring Your Head For Your New Stilo ST6 FN ABP 8859-2024 Carbon Fiber Helmet
The most effective helmet is one that fits properly. To measure your head, have an assistant use a dressmaker's tape or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head.
