Although designed primarily for endurance racing, many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favor in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear. RS 14: The PAGID RS14 (Black) is a high friction value ceramic compound with very good modulation and high fade resistance. A very popular, aggressive pad with strong initial bite and high torque. In addition to the track-day environment, RS14 has shown success in short- to medium-distance circuit racing as well as gravel and tarmac rallying. RSL1: The Pagid RSL1 has a high ceramic content with superior thermal insulation and higher heat resistance than metallic pad compounds. They feature excellent pad wear under endurance conditions, excellent rotor life, and are less aggressive than RST pads with excellent brake balance and modulation. RSC 1: The Pagid RSC1 is a good street/track compromise for enthusiasts with Carbon-Ceramic Brakes. Used for sprint racing and track days compound with all known types of ceramic brake discs. An ideal combination of cold friction, fade resistance and low thermal oxidation of the disc surface. RST 3: RST 3 is a medium-high friction metal-ceramic compound containing steel fibers and is therefore the perfect complement of the RST product family. It captivates by its low heat conductivity.
IPD Y Pipe Porsche 997.1 Turbo-Turbo S (2007-09) black
IPD IPD Y Pipe Porsche 997.1 Turbo-Turbo S (2007-09) $995.00
GET IT CUSTOM POWDER-COATED TO MAKE YOUR ENGINE BAY POP! The revolutionary 997.1 Turbo/Turbo S IPD Y-pipe was built for the more demanding Porsche Turbo performance customer. This is not a cast reproduction of the factory Y-pipe but a complete re-design from scratch, developed to deliver greater air flow for both stock and highly modified Turbos. The factory Y-pipe becomes restrictive when adding substantial power gains. The IPD Y-pipe has larger inlets and an optimized diversion area allowing for even greater power gains. This superior and more efficient design flows 126 CFM higher than the factory Y-pipe, delivering the additional power needed to raise the performance bar on any Turbo. Bigger isn t always better, and the IPD Y-pipe is designed to deliver optimum flow without being so large that it causes a loss in boost response. These Y-pipes can be custom powder coated in dozens of colors, ceramic coated, or polished to add drama to the aesthetic appeal of your Turbo engine. The IPD 997.1 Turbo/Turbo S Y-pipe is designed to be a direct replacement of the factory OEM Y-pipe. There are no modifications or fabrication required for installing the IPD Y-pipe. This is an easy and straight forward bolt on upgrade.
IPD Competition Plenum Porsche 997.1 Carrera-Carrera S
IPD IPD Competition Plenum Porsche 997.1 Carrera-Carrera S from $850.00
IPD Competition Plenum for Porsche 997.1 Carrera/Carrera S The IPD "Y" design plenum replaces the factory "T" style air distributor and provides substantial power and torque gains by means of a more efficient design. Horsepower gains range from 24 to 28 depending on engine displacement and engine condition. These max power gains are experienced in the mid range where is it most useable and enjoyed. The IPD plenum not only delivers impressive power and torque increases but also creates a more linear power and torque band. Tiptronic customers even claim considerable improvements with more positive shifting after installing the IPD Plenums. Porsche has been controlling engine output by restricting the inlet track for decades. This has been successfully accomplished by utilizing smaller throttle bodies. This simple power control solution has been a very effective way of preventing lower level models from out performing certain flagship models, especially models with prolific racing pedigree. Although the factory engine packages are fantastic performance machines, they are engineered and developed to achieve specific performance numbers that satisfy a target demographic and compete with rival brands. Unfortunately driving enthusiasts who seek an elevated Porsche driving experience require performance levels well outside the target market. IPD Plenums deliver substantial power and torque gains, but when combined with larger throttle bodies they perform even better. All of the IPD "Competition" Plenums utilize the next largest size throttle body offered by Porsche. In this case, the Competition Plenum does away with your original 74mm throttle body in favor of Porsche's 82mm 997 GT3 throttle body (can be added above). All of our Competition Plenums are designed to perform with cars equipped with high performance exhaust systems. The more extensive the exhaust system (headers, kats and mufflers) the better. Optimizing air intake and exhaust together creates a balanced performance package that allows the engine to inhale and exhale more air thus creating more power and torque. IPD has pioneered another new Plenum design with the Competition Carrera Plenum. Laminar flows and volumetric efficiencies have been further enhanced with our unique and innovative internal merge collector area. This completely new approach has yielded not only great performance gains but more linear power delivery and improved throttle response as well. Gains vary depending on pre-existing mods and quality of after-market exhaust installed. As we all "should" know, horsepower and torque become harder to find and typically more expensive as we climb the proverbial performance ladder. That being said, performance components yield different power gains depending on the order they were installed. IPD tests and evaluates all products on bone stock cars, this establishes a level playing field and a better "apples to apples" comparison. The Competition Carrera Plenum however is designed to work with applications that are already moderately to heavily modified. Power gains will vary with each Carrera, but the bottom line is, there will be noticeable and impressive gains that are sure to make any Porsche Carrera driving enthusiast smile. Power improvements will be fully realized once the factory ECU/DME makes all the necessary "adaptation" requirements. This process can be expedited with a series of "hard pulls" or spirited full throttle acceleration runs through the gears. Of course this should only be performed on a closed course circuit. This plenum requires a Bosch 82mm throttle body, which can be added to your order above for only $225 (save $100).
IPD Intake Plenum Porsche 997.1 Turbo (74mm TB)
IPD IPD Intake Plenum Porsche 997.1 Turbo (74mm TB) $950.00
IPD Intake Plenum for Porsche 997.1 Turbo Designed for the 74mm throttle body to maximize performance and durability! FITS: Porsche Carrera Turbo (2007-2009) In 2007, the incredible 997 Porsche Turbo was the most revolutionary and capable Porsche Turbo to ever come out of Germany. This already-explosive power can be further increased with the 997.1 Turbo IPD Intake Plenum. The patented IPD Plenum design unlocks power and torque increases over factory power curves from launch to redline. Maximum power increases take place in the midrange where they're most needed and most critical. The 997 Turbo ECU requires an adaptation period through either a series of hard pulls on the dyno or 10 to 50 miles of hard driving (on a closed-circuit or race track). Turbo customers looking to increase engine power and torque without pushing the motorsport envelope to redline would best benefit from the 74mm IPD Turbo Plenum. This version of the plenum uses the factory 74mm throttle body and delivers impressive performance gains for both stock and slightly modified Turbos with exhaust and software. To push beyond these performance mods, we recommend upgrading to the larger IPD Intake Plenum for 82mm Throttle Body . Add IPD's extraordinary high-flowing 997.1 Turbo Y-Pipe for even more dramatic increases in horsepower and torque. This IPD Plenum and Y-Pipe are designed to work perfectly together. We recommend installation of this IPD Plenum be performed by a qualified and trained Porsche technician.
