The lightweight X-Light shoe was developed using feedback from Sparcoโs professional drivers. This development program created some unique features for the new shoe. The X-light does not have a traditional tongue, it uses a durable fabric called Jaquard that acts as an upper stretch panel. This unique upper gives ultimate comfort as the shoe can stretch and breath. The same Jaquard material is on the backside of the shoe where it allows the Achilles unrestricted movement. The X-Light has the next generation sole made in pure lightweight rubber which enhances the pedal feel and is also anti-static, fuel and oil resistant. Fresh air keeps you cool and keeps sweat from getting in your eyes as you take the checkered flag. Endurance racers keep their focus high and lap times low by staying in the cool zone.
This Top Air is designed to be used with a Maglock System.
This unique cooling system feeds air from your carโs fresh air system to both the top of your head and to the front of your face, while at the same time helping keep the inside of your visor clear. This system integrates into the existing design of the ST5 & ST6 helmet and does not require any drilling of the shell or modifications to the internal EPS foam.
There are six small ventilation holes molded into the top of every ST5 and ST6 helmet. Stilo's Top Air system fits over the center four holes and extends down the front of the helmet and just under the top of the visor. Air fed into the Top Air is directed both to the top of the head and down over the face. A small deflector just inside the visor area directs air towards the visor and away from the eyes. Old air flows out of the top side holes on the top of the helmet and from the bottom of the helmet, significantly reducing CO2 buildup in the helmet.
Stilo's Top Air System can be fitted to all Stilo ST5 or ST6 model helmets. It comes in two sizes to best fit your helmet:

The Shield RW-9 line of Nomex underwear provides the highest level of breathability, comfort and protection. When designing this line, Sparco studied the driver's sitting position to ensure ultimate fit and comfort. Shield RW-9 uses a seamless construction with ultra-soft stretchable material. There are two different woven materials in key areas; thin stretch Nomex for comfort and mobility as well as a double perforated Nomex for increased breathability and ultimate comfort.
The minimal seams are stitched flat with thin specialized thread for added comfort. All Shield RW-9 pieces are treated with Sparco X-Cool Silver which draws heat from the body surface to cool the driver. In addition to cooling the driver, X-Cool Silver treatment has an anti-bacterial effect. The Shield RW-9 collection has pieces to fit every driver's style, including short-sleeved nomex t-shirts, long-sleeved nomex shirts, nomex pants, nomex balaclava, and nomex socks.
