Schroth Profi II ASM FE Street Legal 4 Point Harness black
Schroth Schroth Profi II ASM FE Street Legal 4 Point Harness $499.00
The Safe, Street Legal 4 Point Harness The Profi II ASM FE is essentially the same as the Profi II ASM, except it features a Push-Button cam lock. The red push button that says "Press" is necessary to retain street legality and so an EMT who shows up at an accident scene will know how to release your restraint. The FE version also features sewn in, bendable bolt-in tabs for the lap belt attachments, for use in applications where space is limited. It's designed to be used as a four point system, perfect for use in Driver Education cars or any other application where stock seats are retained. (A seat that was not originally designed for a sub strap should never be modified to accept one.) The Profi II ASM incorporates Schroth's legendary ASM (Anti Sub Marining) technology that is the only thing like it on the market. ASM is an extra fold of material sewn into the right shoulder belt that elongates at a different rate than the outboard belt. This allows your upper torso to twist slightly. On the rebound phase, your torso is planted firmly back in the seat rather than allowed to slide under the lap belt. You can add a single or dual sub strap to make this belt into a 5 point or 6 point at any time. Schroth tested this harness with a HANS device and the results were great. You can use a 4 point ASM Harness with any HANS device. The lap belts provided with this harness are only available with bolt-in hardware (it's sewn in) as they are most commonly needed in setups requiring street legality. If you need a different setup, please call 888-748-7223. The shoulder straps come with wrapped-in B23C bolt-in brackets that can be easily removed to wrap around a roll bar or harness bar. See the Schroth Harness Installation Checklist here.
Schroth Quick-Fit 4 Point Harness red
Schroth Schroth Quick-Fit 4 Point Harness $310.00
Schroth Quick-Fit 4-Point Harness The Quick Fit Harness from Schroth is an excellent harness solution for people who have dual-duty cars (track and street). Not many of us have the means to support a full-time race vehicle as well as a street car, and still more of us like driving track-prepared cars on the street. The safest restraint solution is, of course, a 6- or 7-point competition harness, a fixed-back carbon fiber racing seat, a multi-point welded roll cage, and a HANS device. But none of us is going to do that (nor do we recommend it) in our street car. WHAT'S THE NEXT BEST THING? The Schroth Quick Fit Harness is the next best thing. It anchors to factory points, which are load tested to withstand a 3,000-pound force for six seconds. It has ASM (anti-submarine) technology that keeps the lap belt low and your rear end firmly planted in the seat. You don't want the lap belt riding up and squeezing your insides. The Schroth Quick Fit harness is specially designed not to. The Quick Fit Harnesses also take advantage of the factory seat belt pre-tensioner, a device that tightens the belt 1" to 2" in the event of an accident. The airbags will deploy as the engineers of the system intended for someone buckled in. With any other harness, the car wouldn't detect that someone was buckled in, so the airbags would deploy faster and harder. Schroth Quick Fit harnesses also come completely out of the car, giving you full use of your street car for carrying people or cargo. If you have any questions regarding a harness solution for you, please contact us. Please note: These harnesses are designed to be used with the stock, factory-installed seats in vehicles listed in the drop-downs above. These seats have passed a rigorous seat-back strength test to assure the corresponding QuickFit harness can be used safely. QuickFit harnesses are not approved for use with any aftermarket seats, with the following exceptions: Cobra Nogaro Recaro Pole Position ABE This harness is not compatible with HANS or other head-and-neck restraint devices. If you plan on using a HANS, you want the Schroth Quick Fit Pro version.
Schroth Quick-Fit Pro 4 Point Harness black
Schroth Schroth QuickFit Pro 4 Point Harness $459.00
Schroth QuickFit Pro 4 Point Harness For the first time, a four-point harness has been designed for use with a HANS device with stock seats! Perfect for HPDE, track day, and driving school cars, the Schroth QuickFit Pro 4 Point Harness provides a safer, more authentic race driving experience by allowing the use of a HANS device. With this harness, you don't have to spend thousands of dollars on a roll bar, new seats, and six-point harnesses to run safely on the track! Coupled with your vehicle’s existing safety systems, the Schroth QuickFit Pro 4 Point Harness is designed to maximize effectiveness of your HANS device. Traditional four-point harnesses are sewn to lap belts, and don’t join at the center cam lock. This creates a six- to eight-inch gap. The Schroth QuickFit Pro 4 Point Harness answers this problem by allowing each shoulder belt to angle towards the cam lock, integrating with the HANS device. The Schroth QuickFit Pro 4 Point Harness works in conjunction with your car’s seat belt pre-tensioner and airbag for additional peace of mind. The Quick Fit Pro clicks into the car’s female seat belt receptacle, notifying the car’s airbag computer that the seat is in use and the driver is restrained. The pre-tensioner is also activated. This device ignites a pyrotechnic charge if an accident happens, tightening the lap belt and holding your driver in snugly. The Schroth QuickFit Pro 4 Point Harness is meant to be used with your car's factory-fitted, stock seats that have passed a seat-back strength test.
Schroth Rallye 4 ASM Harness
Schroth Schroth Rallye 4 ASM Harness $259.00
Schroth Rallye 4 ASM Harness The Schroth Rallye 4 is the de-facto standard for anyone looking for a simple, safe, DOT-approved 4 point harness. The technology built into this harness puts it in a category above belts made by other manufacturers. Schroth's years of testing and motorsport experience are brought to bear in making this 4-point harness as safe as it can be. SCHROTH TECHNOLOGY STANDS ABOVE THE REST There are two main reasons why the Schroth harnesses are the only safe 4-point harnesses: first, ASM technology; second, the ability to install the harness using stock mounting locations. ASM stands for "Anti-Submarining". It's an extra flap of technical material sewn into the inboard shoulder belt that prevents you from sliding underneath the lap belt in a crash. In a typical 4-point harness, the two shoulder straps restrain your upper body equally, keeping your chest from moving forward but also pulling up on the lap belts. This allows your pelvis to slide under the lap belt, which can cause serious damage. With ASM, the shoulder belts will elongate at different rates, allowing your torso to turn slightly which forces your pelvis down into the seat cushion. Upon rebound, you will be placed back in an upright position with the belt correctly placed over your body. STOCK MOUNTING POINTS ARE THE STRONGEST Being able to mount a Schroth Rallye 4 ASM harness to stock mounting locations means you're using the points engineered by the car maker to withstand extremely high forces for a specified length of time. That means the mounting bolts won't pull out of the sheet metal. It also means (in the case of a Schroth harness) that you can retain the use of your stock 3-point harness, allowing you the use of the backseat of your car. If you have the need to transport passengers (or cargo) in your backseat, it is possible to disconnect the tailstrap (a feature only Schroth has) and use your normal 3 point belts. Schroth Rallye Cross ASM 4 Point Tuning Harness
Schroth Schroth Rallye Cross ASM 4 Point Tuning Harness $259.00
Schroth Rallye Cross ASM 4 Point Tuning Harness The Schroth Rallye Cross ASM is among the most basic harnesses we sell. There are no quick disconnects between the front and rear sections, just four straps that each bolt to the car (the shoulder belts can also be wrapped around your roll bar). The Schroth Rallye Cross ASM is a four-point harness with Schroth's patented ASM technology, which makes it as safe as a four-point belt can be. What differentiates it from the Schroth Rallye 4 is the shoulder straps. DIRECT MOUNTED SHOULDER STRAPS ADD SAFETY Where the Rallye 4 has a quick-disconnect buckle between the front section of the harness and the tail straps, the Schroth Rallye Cross ASM has two independent shoulder straps that go directly to the mounting point. These shoulder straps can be mounted either by wrapping them around a roll bar/harness bar or by bolting them to the bar or the chassis. The Schroth Rallye Cross ASM harness is perfect for someone who's still using stock seats, but wants a safe harness solution for track driving in a car where access to the back seat is not necessary, or in cars with no back seat to begin with. Note: The harness attachment points for the shoulder straps must be structural. They must not be bolted only to sheet metal or to rear child-seat anchors. They must be properly reinforced, either from the factory or by the use of backing plates. SCHROTH RALLYE CROSS ASM 4 POINT HARNESS DETAILS Manufacturer: Schroth Meets FMVSS 209 specification for use on US roads Waist belt ends: sewn in, bolt to chassis Shoulder belt ends: choose wrap-around or bolt-on Click here for operating and installation instructions In light of recent testing, all Rallye Cross harnesses no longer have a specific Left or Right (Driver or Passenger) side. This harness is not compatible with a HANS or any other head-and-neck restraint device. This harness is not approved for all vehicles and may exceeded the maximum shoulder strap downward angle recommended by Schroth. Schroth Right Side Net
Schroth Schroth Right Side Net $195.00
Schroth Right Side Net The Schroth right side driver's net offers the best in driver safety. Attaches to the roll cage of your race car. Made of polyester, these nets will last longer than ordinary nylon nets. Polyester is not as susceptible to UV degradation over time. We view right side nets (also called "cage nets") as a mandatory piece of safety equipment. In an impact, the body moves forward 6-8 inches. This is normal and quite necessary to prevent injury, with the harness stretching to help decelerate the body. If you're in a lateral impact (an impact that's not straight on), there are high lateral forces that will move you side-to-side. Without a right side net, it's very easy for the body to wrap around the side of the seat when the harnesses have stretched. A right side net prevents this by guiding your head and shoulders back into the seat keeping you from painful injury. Please note, this used to be an SFI-rated product, but is now FIA-rated. DETAILS: Schroth nets are tested with a dynamic load to more accurately represent the real world. Carefully read the section about installing the net in your race car. The FIA requires that two vertical sections are in contact with the seat back to provide support. Schroth has added additional vertical sections to the FIA net, differentiating it from SFI-rated nets. Also make note of the angles involved in the installation. The FIA recommends that a net be installed on either side of the seat for driver restraint. The FIA does not view the exterior net as adequate for restraining the driver; they want to see two interior nets whenever possible. The Tudor series currently enforces this and mandates two interior nets as well as a window net. The FIA requires that the net be mount with the horizontal sections of webbing on the inside by the driver, so the drivers helmet has a smooth surface to slide down during an impact. On Schroth nets, this can be accomplished on both sides just be flipping the net over. The FIA requires that the quick-release button be capable of being released under load, which is way Schroth developed their new style quick-release. The ratchet strap and metal clasp (seen on previous nets) have been removed from the net due to their inability to withstand an appropriate dynamic load. The new quick-release is lighter and safer than previous versions.
Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints
Schroth Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints $395.00
Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints are the new Frontal Head Restraint device from Schroth. Built for superior safety, comfort, and implementation. Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraint Features: Simple sizing: Choose from Medium (up to 15 ¬Ω neck) or Large. Drivers who want more space for their collarbone can opt for the Large size. Angle independent: Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints have a small, low collar which is suited for all seating angles without interfering with the seatback. In the event of an impact, the articulating collar rises to support the ideal tether angle - great for drivers who have multiple cars. Load-controlling bump stop : Use the device that gives you a proper collar angle. The Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints legs are attached to the collar itself, along with a unique bump stop which smooths out the initial tether loading. Floating tether: Stay in place while enjoying a wide range of left-to-right head motion plus some side stability. Flexible legs: There no need for pads here as the legs of the device have padding molded right in. The belts can then fit snug to the body, keeping the Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints from moving beneath the belts. Retention ears: Extended vertical ears on the outside edge help secure your belts to the FLEX even in the event of a secondary impact. Slip-stop: Pair Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints with SCHROTH Slip-Stop shoulder belts for high-impact rally and offroad uses. The shoulder belts have a counter groove on the backside of the belt, matching with the grooves on the top and lower legs of the FLEX.
