AiM Sports KA 50 psi Boost/Vacuum (Absolute Pressure) Sensor This "absolute pressure" sensor is ideal for measuring vapor (gas) pressures, from intake boost to crankcase pressure. The 50 psi pressure range is based on perfect vacuum (i.e., from 15 psi below atmospheric pressure to 35 psi above). This sensor is marked "0-50psiA" to differentiate it from the standard 0-50 psi sensor (marked "0-50psiSG"), which does not measure vacuum. KA pressure sensors are more robust than VDO-style pressure sensors, but they should still be isolated from engine heat and vibration whenever possible. AiM Kart Racing Steering Angle Sensor Measure and log your kart driver's steering input with the AiM Steering Angle Sensor. Includes a rotary potentiometer with a male 4-pin 719-style connector, two toothed pulleys, one toothed belt, and one sensor mounting bracket. The steering shaft pulley is designed to fit a 7/8"-diameter shaft. (Smaller shafts will need to add a bushing to fit the pulley.) This sensor is designed to measure up to five complete turns of the steering column. This sensor requires the addition of an Expansion Box or eBox when used with MyChron3 Extreme, MyChron4, and MyChron5 kart dash loggers. If your steering column is larger than 7/8", consider using the AiM String Pot Steering Angle Sensor (Part No. AIM-MC-280) instead. The String Pot can work with any diameter steering shaft.

AiM Brake Pedal Position Sensor, Linear Travel Pot (Auto) The AiM linear short stroke (10mm) displacement potentiometer is most popular ideal for measuring brake pedal movement. A pedal travel sensor such as this can be simpler to install in many vehicles than plumbing a pressure sensor in the brake line. Normally mounted in front of the brake pedal (between the driver and the pedal) so the sensor is depressed when the brakes are off. This will reduce the likelihood of sensor damage or interference with pedal travel in the event of brake fade. The sensor should be mounted close to the pedal pivot, and at an angle that minimizes side loading on the plunger. The compact sensor body measures just 3/4" (19mm) OD x 1 3/8" (35mm) long overall (less plunger). Two 1/4" (6mm) mounting holes are located 1.34" (34mm) center-to-center. This sensor has a 200mm (7 3/4") long cable with the 719 (four-pin plastic push-on type) connector. Use a My Chron 719-719 Patch Cable (Part No. MC-211) to connect to an AiM MXL Pista, MXL Pro, MXL2, MXG, MXS, or MyChron3 Auto dash (except XG-Log). XG-Log and EVO4 require a 712-719 Patch Cable (Part No. MC-210) for connection.
