SPA Technique Electrical Firing Head Re-Arm If you discharged your SPA Technique electrical fire system, your electrically controlled firing head must be re-armed. Inside the electrically controlled firing head, there is a squib charge that punctures the rupture disk and allows the agent to be released from the bottle. This re-arming service is needed to make your electrically actuated SPA Technique fire system operable again. Professional Refill/Re-Certification of Electrically-Actuated Fire Bottle NOTE: Before you send us your SPA Technique fire suppression system bottle, please print, fill out, and submit this Discovery Parts SPA Technique Re-Certification Form. SPA AFFF systems must be inspected and re-certified every two years. This service includes inspection of the bottle, dip tube and firing head; refilling with SPA AFFF fluid; nitrogen pressurization to factory specification; and FIA recertification when applicable. Additional charges apply if replacement of the firing head or other parts is required. SPA AFFF Refill & Re-Certification Details: Bottles that are not more than two years past the service-due date can be serviced. Bottles that are more than two years past their service-due date cannot be serviced (SPA and FIA requirement). Bottles over five years old must be hydrostatically tested before service at an extra cost (DOT requirement). Bottles over ten years old cannot be serviced (SPA and FIA requirement). Newer bottles with welded seams at each end have a much higher passing rate. If you have an older bottle, it is likely that the DOT will not allow us to refill it. Carbotech Brake Pads Carbotech 1.8L Miata Front Brake Pads for 1994-2005 Mazda Miata. 2nd Generation Miata front brake pads in 1521, AX6, XP8, XP10, XP12, XP20, XP24 and RP2 compounds. Carbotech makes many different compounds for your NB 1.8L Miata and for the track, the most popular set-up is XP10 Front and XP8 rear. This seems to balance out the Hoosier Spec tire to the suspension nicely. If you run a stickier tire, you want to start with XP10/XP8 and maybe go to XP12 after you determine you can handle the increased torque without getting into the ABS. This compound's excellent linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Carbotechâ 1521â operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 800 F (426 C+). 1521â is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle or fleet vehicle. Carbotechâ 1521â is NOT recommended for ANY track use. Carbotechâ AX6â The AX6â is specifically engineered for Autocross applications. A high torque brake compound delivering reliable and consistent performance over a very wide operating temperature range of 50 F to 1000 F + (10 C to 537 C+). The advanced compound matrix provides an excellent initial bite, high coefficient of friction at lower temperatures along with very progressive brake modulation and release characteristics. Many drivers use the AX6â for street driving as well, even though Carbotechâ doesn't recommend street driving with AX6â due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. AX6â is NOT recommended as a race compound in most applications. Carbotechâ XP8â A high torque brake compound with a wide operating temperature range of 200 F-1250 F+ (93 C to 676 C+). Carbotechâ XP8â is the first of our racing compounds. Good initial bite at race temperatures, high coefficient of friction, excellent modulation and release characteristics. Extremely high fade resistance and very rotor friendly. Perfect for track day use with any tire and can still be driven safely to and from the track. Carbotechâ does NOT recommended XP8â as a daily driven street pad due to elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotechâ XP8â is a great compound on the front & rear of most open wheel and sports racers. Carbotechâ XP10â When Carbotechâ unleashed the XP10â to the general public it immediately gathered multiple regional, divisional, and national championships. The XP10â has a very strong initial bite with a coefficient of friction and rotor friendliness unmatched in the industry. Fade resistance is in excess of 1475 F (801 C). XP10â still maintains the highly praised release, excellent modulation and rotor friendliness that have made all Carbotechâ compounds so successful. Carbotechâ XP10â is not recommended as a daily-driven street pad due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotechâ XP12â Another highly successful XPâ series compound with an excellent initial bite, torque and fade resistance over and above the XP10â compound. XP12â has temperature range of 250 F to 1850 F+ (121 C to 1010 C+). The XP12â has that excellent Carbotechâ release and modulation that has made all other Carbotechâ compounds so successful. The XP12â is more rotor aggressive than XP10â , but compared to the competition the XP12â is still very rotor friendly. XP12â is NOT recommended for use as a daily driven street pad due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotechâ XP20â The latest iteration of the highly successful XPâ series of compounds. XP20â is a step up from the highly successful XP16â compound. With an extremely aggressive initial bite, linear torque curve and excellent fade resistance the XP20â is another major step in progression of the highly successful XPâ series line of compounds from Carbotechâ . XP20â has a temperature range of 275 F to 2000 F+ (135 C to 1093 C+). Carbotechâ XP20â maintains our tradition of having the outstanding release and modulation that has made all other Carbotechâ compounds so successful. Carbotechâ XP20â is NOT recommended for use as a daily driven street pad due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotechâ XP24â XP24â is the pinnacle compound of the extremely successful XPâ Series of compounds engineered by Carbotechâ . Keep Your Stilo ST5 Helmet Ventilated With The Stilo Top Air System Fresh air keeps you cool and keeps sweat from getting in your eyes as you take the checkered flag. Endurance racers keep their focus high and lap times low by staying in the cool zone. This unique cooling system feeds air from your car's fresh air system to both the top of your head and to the front of your face, while at the same time helping keep the inside of your visor clear. This system integrates into the existing design of the ST5 helmet and does not require any drilling of the shell or modifications to the internal EPS foam. There are four small ventilation holes molded into the top of every ST5 & ST6 helmet. Stilo's Top Air system fits over the forward two holes and extends down the front of the helmet and just under the top of the visor. Air fed into the Top Air is directed both to the top of the head and down over the face. A small deflector just inside the visor area directs air towards the visor and away from the eyes. Old air flows out of the rear holes on the top of the helmet and from the bottom of the helmet, significantly reducing CO2 buildup in the helmet. Stilo's Top Air System can be fitted to all Stilo ST5 or ST6 model helmets.

Stilo ST5 Visor FIA8860-2018ABP Smoked Medium THIS VISOR IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH STILO ST5 FIA 8860-2018ABP HELMETS.  Previously, the FIA 8860 standards for F1 required a Zylon strip (exceptionally strong, bulletproof material) to be mounted onto the shield to cover a section of the helmet (along the edge of the visor opening of the shell) that was considered, well, slightly less impenetrable by dangerous impacts. Now, for 2019, a new helmet standard has been released - FIA 8860-2018-ABP (Advanced Ballistic Protection) This new standard builds the protection into the helmet shell and therefore eliminates the need for the Zylon strip. (the Zylon strip is still available for use on other Stilo ST5 helmets. It must be purchased in conjunction with the purchase of your new ST5 visor and built by Stilo. This is NOT an after market item that can be installed by the end user) This new standard drove the Stilo engineers to design and develop a new helmet - the Stilo ST5 FIA8860-2018ABP. With this new helmet design came a new shield design. While looking very similar to the standard Stilo ST5 visor, there is a slight shape difference in the height.
