Brembo
Brembo Brakes Front 412x38 - Eight Pistons (X5M E70 F85, X6M E71 F86)
$5,495.00
For drivers who demand the utmost from their car
Designed and tested specifically for track day enthusiasts and for drivers who demand the utmost performance from their cars, these kits offer superlative performance for both normal driving and demanding track day sessions. Brembo kits consist of cross-drilled or slotted ventilated, one-piece or composite discs and aluminium calipers with 4, 6 or 8 pistons; a complete set of high performance pads; metal-braided hoses and high quality hardware.
ÄãSolutions and technologies born on the race trackBraking systems consisting of motorsports-derived components offering levels of technology and performance without par on the market today and embodying the purest expression of Brembo's state-of-the-art technology. The kit consists of aluminium calipers with opposed pistons which, depending on the car model and in increasing order of performance, may be composite, monoblock or even billet monoblock components, combined with cross-drilled or slotted one-piece or composite oversized discs.Brembo kits combine the best solutions available to offer the perfect solution for the individual characteristics of each model. The heart of the kit consists of aluminium calipers. These are also available as monoblock parts machined from a single billet of cast aluminium, which ensure outstanding rigidity and minimised deformation. The discs supplied in the kit, which may either be floating or one-piece, depending on the specific car model, feature an exclusive venting system that improves cooling capacity and increases resistance to cracking caused by thermal shock by over 40%.Cross-drilled and slotted finishes are designed and executed with meticulous precision. These holes or slots in the braking surface help dissipate heat and eliminate brake dust and gases. A set of high-performance brake pads with specific friction materials for each application, T√úV/DOT homologated metal-braided hoses, an adapter and high-quality fastener hardware complete the kit.
More braking torque and thermal capacity on the trackUsing radial-mounted fixed calipers together with oversized discs gives the system greater braking torque and superior thermal capacity. The result is a braking action that is noticeably more immediate and decisive even in normal road usage, and is extraordinarily powerful and consistent under the repeated loads of track use. Fixed calipers improve the durability and efficiency of the system: the opposed multiple pistons act on the pads with more precision, due to the smaller piston diameter and the reduced pressure exerted on each individual piston, while the greater overall surface area between the pads and pistons results in more uniform friction surface wear. The superlative stiffness of the calipers and the metal braided hoses reduce brake fluid absorption. The result is improved, more stable brake pedal pressure, making it possible to modulate braking force more precisely and enhancing pedal feel. Featuring a hat in aluminium alloy, the oversized floating disc system reduces unsprung mass (for improved handling) and thermal stress. The mounting system is engineered to permit a greater degree of both radial and axial float. This characteristic, together with the greater dimensions of the braking rotor surface, improves the dispersion of the heat generated by the repeated, intense thermal stress that the discs are subjected to, for consistent braking performance and pedal feel even after numerous laps on the track.
Eye-catching, unique looksWith a combination of painted calipers (available in red, black or silver) flaunting the Brembo logo, and slotted or cross-drilled discs, the Gran Turismo kit gives an unmistakably sporty, eye-catching look to the car, offering that extra special touch for drivers who want their vehicle to stand out from the crowd.Catering for the more discerning driver is the GT-R line of kits. These offer even more performance and consist of billet-monoblock calipers, slotted discs in diameters up to 405 mm and special high performance pads.

BELL HP77 CARBON FIBER 8860-2018 HELMET FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ):
Remember that safety is paramount in auto racing, and choosing the right helmet and maintaining it properly is essential for your protection on the track. Always consult with the professionals at Discovery Parts and refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for specific questions about your racing helmet.
Why do I need a BELL HP77 CARBON FIBER racing helmet?
Auto racing helmets are designed to protect drivers from head injuries and fire during high-speed races and crashes. They are a crucial safety component in motorsports.
How do I choose the right size
BELL HP77 carbon fiber helmet? You should measure your head's circumference using a flexible tape measure, then refer to the manufacturer's sizing chart to select the appropriate size helmet. Please review our blog posting on how to properly fit your new auto racing helmet from Discovery Parts.
What safety standards should I look for in a racing helmet? Look for helmets that meet safety standards like Snell and FIA depending on your racing discipline. These standards ensure the helmet's safety and quality. DOT helmets are designed for street use and not for racing and track use.
What's the difference between full-face and open-face, and helmets? Full-face helmets provide the most protection with a complete face shield, while open-face helmets cover the top and sides of the head.
Can I use a motorcycle helmet for auto racing? No, motorcycle helmets do not provide the same level of protection as auto racing helmets, as they are designed for different purposes. It's recommended to use a helmet specifically designed for auto racing which includes fire protection in addition to impact protection.
How often should I replace my
BELL HP77 carbon fiber auto racing helmet? Auto racing helmets should be replaced every 5-10 years, depending on the manufacturer's recommendations and usage. If the helmet is involved in a crash, it should be replaced immediately.
Are expensive racing helmets safer than budget ones? Safety standards dictate the minimum safety requirements, so even budget-friendly helmets can offer protection. However it’s important to consider how lower-priced helmets are meeting the required testing standards. More expensive helmets are lighter, smaller, are constructed of superior materials, and often come with additional features then less expensive helmets.
How do I maintain and clean my racing helmet? Follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and maintenance. You should clean the exterior, interior and shield with the Molecule Helmet Care Kit.
Do I need to wear a balaclava under my BELL HP77 carbon fiber racing helmet? Balaclavas are typically not required for Driver's Education events, however they make wearing a helmet much, much more comfortable. Balaclavas will provide fire protection (if fire rated), help keep your helmet lining clean and order free by absorbing the majority of sweat while using it, and additionally balaclavas make putting your helmet on and taking it off by protecting your ears and keeping from from folding over when you helmet is worn. Discovery Parts recommends balaclavas from Alpinestars, OMP, Sabelt, Sparco, and Stand21. If you are entering sanctioned auto racing events, balaclavas will be required for fire protection.
Is the SNELL SA Rating important? The Snell SA2020 certification is a safety standard established by the Snell Memorial Foundation for auto racing helmets. It sets the criteria and requirements that helmets must meet to be considered safe and suitable for use in motorsport events. Snell SA2020 certification is highly regarded in the motorsports industry and is often required or recommended by racing organizations and events. It signifies that a helmet has passed rigorous testing to provide maximum safety for drivers in various motorsport disciplines, including road racing, NASCAR, Formula 1, drag racing, and more. It's essential for drivers to check the specific safety standards required by the racing organizations they participate in to ensure compliance.
Is the FIA helmet certification important? Yes, FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) certification is crucial for auto racing helmets, especially in the context of international motorsport events and many national and regional racing series in the USA. The FIA 8859-2015 standard is commonly associated with racing helmets used in various motorsport disciplines. Helmets certified to FIA 8859-2015 met the safety requirements set by the FIA and were widely accepted in many racing series
Which helmet certification is the most stringent and the hardest to meet? The FIA 8860-2018 certification is considered the most stringent and advanced helmet certifications available for auto racing helmets, and it is often associated with top-tier motorsport categories like Formula 1. It's important to note that the FIA 8860-2018 helmets offer a high level of protection and their use is mandatory in many racing series. Drivers should always check the regulations of the racing series they intend to participate in to ensure compliance with helmet certification standards.

The new ARAI GP-7SRC ABP is a stunning example of Arai vision and technological mastery, engineered into a functional, real-world piece of safety equipment. It begins with a startling advancement: a proprietary Carbon Fiber (CF) weave that combines CF existing benefits of high strength and extreme light weight.
But there's a major added benefit that standard CF does not possess: flexibility. (Standard CF tends to splinter or shatter instead of flex on impact.) The result is a helmet ready for the unparalleled demands and requirements of high end closed-cockpit racing. The remaining list of ARAI GP-7SRC features and advances is impressive because, for this helmet and its prospective user, it simply has to be. The ARAI GP-7SRC ABP meets or exceeds the FIA 8860-2018 ABP homologation standard.
ARAI GP-7SRC ABP 8860-2018 CARBON FIBER HELMET - ABP (ADVANCED BALLISTIC PROTECTION)
FIA's new ABP (Advanced Ballistic Protection) specification is intended especially for drivers in open cars.
The ARAI GP-7SRC ABP has been strengthened in the forehead area, incorporating an external intrusion panel (previously mounted to the shield) that is now integrated into the helmet shell itself. The ABP homologation was written to reduce the risk of injury from debris or other objects striking a driver head.
ARAI GP-7SRC ABP 8860-2018 CARBON FIBER HELMET - VENTILATION
Three large, closeable, intake vents combined with larger 10mm holes and two aditional exhaust vents in the center of the helmet greatly increase air flow. A redesigned exhaust cowling improves aerodynamics, drawing out hot air escaping the helmet. The GP-7SRC comes with all vents unattached so you can customize the vent configuration to your specific needs.
ARAI GP-7SRC ABP 8860-2018 CARBON FIBER HELMET - POSITIVE SHIELD LATCH
Arai's positive latch mechanism provides solid shield closure while allowing normal operation of the shield. Designed as an integral component of the shield system, not just an add-on afterthought, its functional simplicity belies the complexity of the design.
ARAI GP-7SRC ABP 8860-2018 CARBON FIBER HELMET - HANS POST ANCHORS
Integrated seats accommodate a variety of Head and Neck Restraint devices. Pre-installed M6 threaded washer/nut with 6mm threads accepts a variety of anchor systems, making installation easy. The flat surface around the mounting nut allows the anchor post to rest flush on the helmet surface.
ARAI GP-7SRC ABP 8860-2018 CARBON FIBER HELMET - SHELL
Arai's proprietary carbon fiber material and weave provide an extremely strong yet flexible material, helping manage impact energy. Multiple reinforcing materials are used to improve performance while keeping weight and bulk to a minimum.
ARAI GP-7SRC ABP 8860-2018 CARBON FIBER HELMET - EJECT READY CROWN PAD
Pre-cut pocket under the crown pad can be easily removed to accommodate the optional eject system.
ARAI GP-7SRC ABP 8860-2018 CARBON FIBER HELMET - DRINK TUBE COMPATIBILITY
The ARAI GP-7SRC chin liner is now more easily removed to install a drink tube into the liner. The chin liner comes standard with four different drink hose placements.
Be sure to include a DP Evo helmet bag with your order to protect your new Stilo WRC Venti Zero Carbon Fiber Helmet

Available in sizes Extra-Small to Large
An effective helmet is one that fits properly. Have an assistant use a measuring tape, or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head starting at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, around a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement, and finally wrapping back to the front. It's a good idea to take several measurements to make sure you have the largest one.

ARAI GP-7SRC ABP 8860-2018 CARBON FIBER HELMET FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ):
Remember that safety is paramount in auto racing, and choosing the right helmet and maintaining it properly is essential for your protection on the track. Always consult with the professionals at Discovery Parts and refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for specific questions about your racing helmet.
Why do I need a racing helmet?
Auto racing helmets are designed to protect drivers from head injuries and fire during high-speed races and crashes. They are a crucial safety component in motorsports.
How do I choose the right size ARAI GP-7SRC ABP helmet? You should measure your head's circumference using a flexible tape measure, then refer to the manufacturer's sizing chart to select the appropriate size helmet. Please review our blog posting on how to properly fit your new auto racing helmet from Discovery Parts.
What safety standards should I look for in a ARAI GP-7SRC ABP racing helmet?
How often should I replace my ARAI GP-7SRC ABP auto racing helmet? Auto racing helmets should be replaced every 5-10 years, depending on the manufacturer's recommendations and usage. If the helmet is involved in a crash, it should be replaced immediately.
Are expensive racing helmets safer than budget ones? Safety standards dictate the minimum safety requirements, so even budget-friendly helmets can offer protection. However it’s important to consider how lower-priced helmets are meeting the required testing standards. More expensive helmets are lighter, smaller, are constructed of superior materials, and often come with additional features then less expensive helmets.
How do I maintain and clean my ARAI GP-7SRC ABP racing helmet? Follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and maintenance. You should clean the exterior, interior and shield with the Molecule Helmet Care Kit.
Do I need to wear a balaclava under my ARAI GP-7SRC ABP racing helmet?
