The QRT-C is an all-carbon fiber version of the QRT-R. The QRT-C is the lightest “large” size carbon fiber seat on the market. The QRT-C weighs 12.5lbs (with padding and cover) and is constructed from “Pre-Preg” aerospace grade carbon fiber, also known as Dry Carbon. The QRT-C was specifically designed for a large driver and it fits up to a 36” waist driver comfortably. The QRT-C is unique because it was designed to fit a larger driver but has excellent fitment into smaller cockpits The QRT-C requires the special QRT Side Mounts (#600QRT) which allows the seat to be racked back for a comfortable seating position. This Girodisc system is engineered as a direct swap for the factory carbon ceramic front rotors on Z07-package C8 Z06 Corvettes. It retains the OEM calipers but uses a different pad shape (D1405), which is the same shape found on non-Z07 C8 Z06 models.
The rotor rings are crafted from Girodisc’s proprietary high-carbon steel alloy, offering outstanding thermal stability and longevity. With 72 curved internal vanes, these rotors act as centrifugal air pumps, pulling in cool air through the hub to fight brake fade during aggressive use.
The aluminum rotor hats are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 and anodized black for long-term corrosion resistance. The floating rotor design uses cadmium-plated drive pins, spring clips, and washers to allow axial float—ensuring race-ready performance while remaining quiet enough for the street.
When the rotors reach minimum thickness (34mm) or if a crack extends to the edge, simply replace the rings (D1-320) and reuse the hats—keeping running costs low over time.

The Sparco QRT-R was the first seat to feature Sparco’s patented QRT technology. The QRT Performance seat represents the luxury evolution of the QRT-R race seat. The QRT Performance uses the same FIA race shell as the QRT-R race seat but is covered in Italian Leather and Alcantara. The seats are handstitched in the Sparco OEM factory in Torino Italy. The QRT Performance has a unique CAD design that features a lower seating position that can fit a larger/taller driver with the exterior dimensions that can fit into smaller cockpits. This Girodisc two-piece floating rotor system is a direct replacement for the OEM cast iron brake rotors on the C8 Z06 Corvette. The Girodisc two-piece rotors will bolt directly to the C8 Z06 and work perfectly with OEM calipers. By upgrading your C8 Z06 brakes to these lightweight, high-performance replacements -- as opposed to a big brake kit -- your factory brake bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. These Girodisc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces, reducing rotational and unsprung mass for quicker acceleration, sharper suspension response, and better brake feel.
When used with Pagid or PFC high-performance brake pads and RF1 racing brake fluid, this Girodisc rotor system gives you an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors.
The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The rotor itself is manufactured from a proprietary cast iron, domestically sourced and made to the same specification used by professional racing organizations. The rotor's curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat are joined by a floating mount system utilizing 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in-house, then cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer breaking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws and hardened washers, mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise typically associated with floating rotors.

This Girodisc two-piece rotor set is a direct replacement for the rear rotors on the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 with either the factory cast iron rotors or the Z07 carbon ceramic rotors1. Girodisc two-piece, fully floating rotor assemblies help shed unsprung weight and rotating mass from the front axle of the C8 Z06 with iron rotors, while being far more durable in track use than the fragile and very expensive Z07 carbon ceramic rotors.
American Made With Specially Formulated Materials
Girodisc rotor rings are machined from a proprietary casting made of high-carbon steel formulated to Girodisc’s specifications. This superior metallurgy results in a rotor that holds up better, and the 72 curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump pulling air in through the hub to effectively cool the rotors under hard use. The two-piece design means the reusable hat which can be attached to new rotor rings (part number D2-319) when the latter need to be replaced.
All major components including the hats, rotor rings, and drive pins are manufactured in-house at the Girodisc facility in Bellingham, WA, from domestically-sourced materials. The hat is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and coated in a black anodized finish. The drive pins are made from a high-strength steel alloy and cadmium-plated for corrosion resistance. All rotors are assembled with spring clips and Belleville washers for race-ready float while also being street-friendly with no noise from loose hardware.
The minimum thickness at which we recommend replacing these rings is 32mm. We also recommend replacing them if a crack leads to the edge of the ring.
