To save weight, two windows are machined with a convergent radius to allow maximum strength and the lightest weight possible. We specially designed the inside roll-bar radius for secure mounting. This Discovery Parts brace adjusts from 2" up to 14", making it ideal for multi-driver cars. The plate that bolts to the back of the seat is 3" x 9" for a total of 27 in2. This brace can be used with just about any aluminum or composite seat at any angle. For fore or aft adjustments, just loosen the upper main clamp housing and get a perfect adjustment for your seat in any position. For other adjustments the brace can be loosened so that the seat can be tilted or moved up or down, and the brace then re-tightened. Carbotechâ XP12â Another highly successful XPâ series compound with an excellent initial bite, torque and fade resistance over and above the XP10â compound. XP12â has temperature range of 250 F to 1850 F+ (121 C to 1010 C+). The XP12â has that excellent Carbotechâ release and modulation that has made all other Carbotechâ compounds so successful. The XP12â is more rotor aggressive than XP10â , but compared to the competition the XP12â is still very rotor friendly. With an extremely aggressive initial bite, linear torque curve and excellent fade resistance the XP20â is another major step in progression of the highly successful XPâ series line of compounds from Carbotechâ . XP20â has a temperature range of 275 F to 2000 F+ (135 C to 1093 C+).
