These two-piece floating rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high-performance Girodisc rotors (paired with Girodisc A2-266 rear rotors), your factory brake bias and ABS efficiency are maintained. The low rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and transient suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC racing brake pads and CMS RF1 Racing brake fluid, you have an amazing, durable solution to cracked or broken carbon-ceramic rotors at a fraction of the cost of the factory PCCBs. The hat of each rotor is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron using the same specs and materials as professional racing organizations. The curved-vane design acts as a centrifugal pump to force cool air through the disc.  The disc and hat mount together using a floating mount system with high-strength alloy steel drive pins and Grade 12 cap screws. The drive pins transfer braking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc and hat to accomodate heat expansion. Hardened washers and anti-noise springs eliminate the rattle and noise sometimes associated with floating rotors. Sold/priced per pair.

Girodisc A2-272 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors for Porsche 992 GT3 (oem Steel) $1,700.00
FITS PORSCHE 911 GT3/GT3RS/GT2RS (2021+) REAR WITH STEEL BRAKES The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc on the 992 GT3, GT3RS, and GT2RS with OEM iron rotors. No modifications are necessary, allows use of factory unmodified pads unlike most aftermarket solutions for this application. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight, high performance replacements -- as opposed to a big brake kit -- your factory brake bias and ABS efficiency are preserved. The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly USA-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The rotor is made from Girodisc's own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by Class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion, eliminating the rattle and noise commonly associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor ring when needed. When used with Pagid or PFC racing brake pads and hi-temp RF1 racing brake fluid, you have what amounts to a truly amazing solution to overheating or warping rotors. If your car same with OEM center lock wheels please select the center lock drive pin option.Sold/priced in pairs.

A2-266 Girodisc 2pc REAR Brake Rotors GT4 ClubSport
Girodisc A2-266 Girodisc 2pc REAR Brake Rotors GT4 ClubSport $1,700.00
This Girodisc system is a 380mm two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination, a direct-replacement upgrade for the one-piece OEM GT4 Clubsport steel brakes. The A2-266 will bolt directly to the GT4 ClubSport and work perfectly with your OEM calipers. There are two main reasons for replacing your OEM rotors: first, the Girodisc rotors are designed to shed heat more effectively than the original rotors; second, the slotted Girodisc A2-266 will far outlast the OEM drilled rotors. When subjected to intense heat in a racing or track-day environment, the drilled holes in the OEM rotors originate cracks which can lead to rotor failure. When paired with the Girodisc A1-266 front rotors, your factory brake bias and ABS efficiency are maintained. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and Competition Motorsport RF1 brake fluid (also available from CompetitionMotorsport.com), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.  The disc is manufactured from cast iron which is constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations.  The rotors curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.   The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes eight to ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance.  The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat.  The pins are secured by Grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. Girodisc Titanium Brake Pad Shields for Porsche GT4
Girodisc Girodisc Titanium Brake Pad Shields for Porsche GT4 $80.00
Girodisc Titanium Brake Pad Shields FITS: Porsche 981 GT4 The problem of brake fluid boiling is due to heat transferring from the rotors and pads directly into the fluid through the caliper pistons. When brake fluid boils, it releases air that is normally part of the molecular structure of the fluid. This air is compressible, of course, and the brake pedal goes to the floor instead of moving the caliper pistons. Production cars tend to suffer from this on track days because they don't have the extensive cooling ducts and exotic brake materials found on race cars. Race-only brake calipers generally come with titanium caliper pistons for one reason: titanium has low thermal conductivity. This means it's very bad at transferring heat, which is good if you're trying to keep your brake fluid from boiling. Here's a comparison of materials and their relative thermal conductivity ratings (lower is better): Titanium 6AL-4V = 6.7 W/mk Steel = 52 W/mk Aluminum = 130 W/mk Most fixed calipers use aluminum pistons which are, unfortunately, excellent at transferring braking heat to your brake fluid. Our solution is to place Girodisc's thin titanium shims between the brake pad and the caliper pistons. This helps prevent braking heat from transferring into the pistons and, thus, into the fluid.  For cars that are going to see hard or multiple track days, these shims are affordable protection from losing your brake pedal at the wrong time and making your track day very expensive. Water jet cut to exact size; no cutting, grinding, or swearing involved. Price is per axle (four shims)

Girodisc Front Caliper Rebuild Kit Porsche 981 Boxster S-Cayman S
Girodisc Girodisc Front Caliper Rebuild Kit Porsche 981 Boxster S-Cayman S $48.00
PORSCHE 981 BOXSTER S/CAYMAN S FRONT CALIPER REBUILD KIT Track days can be especially hard on the piston seals and dust boots in your brake calipers. Heat, in particular, will do a number on them. (Titanium heat shields behind your pads can help with that.)  This kit is put together from the highest-quality components to rebuild a brake caliper back to like-new condition. One kit is required per caliper (we suggest doing them both as long as you're doing it).  Once you rebuild them, get the Ti heat shields as well and lengthen the interval between rebuilds.  The shields and seals are available as a kit for convenience (and a bit of savings). We only source superior quality brake components (brakes for track use are serious business); some kits don't take it as seriously.  Any questions give us a call, we're happy to help!
