The Girodisc replacement rotor system is a direct rotor disc replacement for the Girodisc two-piece hat and rotor and no modifications are necessary.
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.
The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor only replacement to minimize replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.

The Ferodo DS3.12 is a track only compound with the flattest torque curve across the largest temperature range with very high torque. The Ferodo DS3.12 is identified with production code "G" and is the latest evolution in the Ferodo's DS track-only brake pad line. Designed for Hyper, Super and modern sports cars that have increased horsepower, more aero, higher curb weight, and stickier tires.These attributes all place greater demands on the vehicle’s ABS system.
The Ferodo DS3.12 is the modern pad compound designed from the start to explicitly handle those demands. Out of all the pad compounds we have ever tested, even from manufacturers, the DS3.12 shows the flattest torque curve across the broadest temperature range. That means that on every turn, on every track you drive, on every lap, your brake pedal is going to feel almost exactly the same, providing tremendous consistency and repeatability.
The DS3.12 has a higher mu than all of Ferodo’s other compounds, so not as much leg pressure is required to initiate the desired response. It is also unfadable, showing no drop in performance at any temp your brakes will ever see. In dyno testing, the DS3.12 has shown superior wear rates to the other Ferodo compounds, while remaining kind to the discs. This "Machined Head" SPA Technique fire system uses an internal firing mechanism to make the bottle as small as possible, without going to the extra expense of an electrically discharged race car fire system. Space is always at a premium in a race car, so the master engineers at SPA Technique listened to the many, many crew chiefs that want the quality and reliability of SPA Technique, but in a cost effective, compact fire system.

All while being non-conductive (i.e., safe for electronics) and leaving no residue. If you want the safest race car fire system, the SPA Technique Novec 1230 Extreme systems are your first choice.
Installation of your SPA Technique 5LB SFI 17.1 system is easy because the kit includes everything you'll need for a safe, easy installation. A completely filled SFI 17.1 certified and labeled bottle is included, as are the two stainless steel retaining straps. For discharge, a six-foot pull cable is included, typically more than enough to locate the bottle where you and crew chief want it. This complete fire system also includes two nozzles, one T-fitting, one bulkhead fitting, and ten feet of 5/16" easy-to-install aluminum tubing. There is even a new "E" decal to make the grumpiest tech inspector happy.
