RSL 29:
The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport. The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races.
Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications.
This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le Mans, Daytona, Spa, and the Nurburgring 24H. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures.
Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc. No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. These Girodisc rear rotors are approx 18.8 lbs. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.
The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly USA-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from Girodisc's own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The disc and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured in the US by Girodisc and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the loads from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. They are secured by class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers.
In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise springs on the disc side, allowing the iron disc to expand as it heats up while eliminating the rattle and noise commonly associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the brake pads.
Once the Girodisc system is in place, you simply replace the cast iron discs when needed. This reduces cost over time by allowing you to re-use the aluminum central hats.
