Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness (Anti-Sub) The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness (Anti-Sub) integrates Schroth unique ASM (Anti-SubMarining) technology in a four-point system. The ideal harness for stock seats, or seats not designed for a pass-through for a sub strap, that are used in Driver Education programs. Schroth ASM is an extra fold of material sewn into the inboard shoulder belt, elongating at a separate rate compared to the outboard belt. This allows two movements: the upper torso can twist slightly, and on the rebound phase, the torso is planted firmly back in the seat instead of sliding under the lap belt. The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness is good for use with a HANS device or other Head and Neck Restraint (HNR). The ASM shoulder strap on the ASM is 3 width, which will work with any HNR. A dual or single strap can be added to convert this belt into a 5- or 6- point system. The shoulders are ready to wrap around a roll bar, and snap-in or bolt-in attachments can be purchased. The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness also features a Flex Belt. Instead of being sewn into the harness, the cam latches and end fittings are wrapped, making configuration changes from a Pull-Up to a Pull-Down configuration quick and easy. In addition to helping you customize the use of your device for your particular situation, you can add bolt-in brackets to be wrapped in the lap belts. Snap-in brackets are standard on the lap belts. Choose from Black, Blue, or Red! Be sure to specify Driver or Passenger side as the construction is slightly different for each.

Schroth Quick-Fit 4-Point Harness The Quick Fit Harness from Schroth is an excellent harness solution for people who have dual duty cars (track and street). Not many of us have the means to support a full time track vehicle as well as a street car, and still more of us like driving track-prepared cars on the street. The ultimate harness solution includes fixed-back Kevlar seats, a gazillion point welded roll-cage and a HANS device. None of us are going to (nor do we recommend) do this in our street cars. What's the next best thing? The Schroth Quick Fit Harness. It anchors to factory points, which means you don't have to worry about it ripping out of the sheet metal. The factory points are load tested to withstand a 3,000-pound force for 6 seconds. It has ASM technology that keeps the lap belt low and your rear end firmly planted in the seat. You don't want the lap belt riding up and squeezing your stomach and intestines. A Schroth belt is designed not to. The Quick Fit Belts also take advantage of the factory seat belt pre-tensioner, a device that tightens the belt 1-2 inches in the event of an accident. The Airbags will deploy as the engineers of the system intended for someone buckled in. With any other harness, the car wouldn't detect that someone was buckled in, so the airbags would deploy faster and harder. The Schroth B23A bendable snap-on harness adapter lets you bolt one end to the chassis, bend it to the needed shape, and attach your harness snap end. Schroth slang calls it a "Rallye End" kit because it usually comes on the street legal Rallye style belts. Like the 01323 kit, it is designed to be bent. These pieces are commonly used in Porsche applications where space for an Eye bolt is insufficient. This bracket can be bolted to the car, then bent so that a Snap-In bracket can be used to fix the harness to the bracket. We use Schroth B23A brackets in many applications where stock mounting locations do not leave sufficient space, or if the thread pitch is different from the eye bolts. If you have a Miata, S2000 or are putting a large/very large seat in a full interior car this is the harness mount kit you want.

The Safe, Street Legal 4 Point Harness The Profi II ASM FE is essentially the same as the Profi II ASM, except it features a Push-Button cam lock. The red push button that says "Press" is necessary to retain street legality and so an EMT who shows up at an accident scene will know how to release your restraint. The FE version also features sewn in, bendable bolt-in tabs for the lap belt attachments, for use in applications where space is limited. It's designed to be used as a four point system, perfect for use in Driver Education cars or any other application where stock seats are retained. (A seat that was not originally designed for a sub strap should never be modified to accept one.) The Profi II ASM incorporates Schroth's legendary ASM (Anti Sub Marining) technology that is the only thing like it on the market. ASM is an extra fold of material sewn into the right shoulder belt that elongates at a different rate than the outboard belt. This allows your upper torso to twist slightly. On the rebound phase, your torso is planted firmly back in the seat rather than allowed to slide under the lap belt. You can add a single or dual sub strap to make this belt into a 5 point or 6 point at any time. Schroth tested this harness with a HANS device and the results were great. You can use a 4 point ASM Harness with any HANS device. The lap belts provided with this harness are only available with bolt-in hardware (it's sewn in) as they are most commonly needed in setups requiring street legality. Schroth Rallye Cross ASM 4 Point Tuning Harness The Rallye Cross is the most basic harness we sell. There are no quick disconnects between the front and rear sections, just 4 straps that all bolt or wrap directly to the car. It is a 4 point harness with Schroth's patented ASM technology, which makes it a safe 4 point belt. What differentiates it from a Rallye 3 or 4 is the shoulder straps. Where a Rallye 3 or 4 has a quick disconnect buckle between the front section of the harness and the tailstrap, the Rallye Cross has two independant shoulder straps that go straight to the mounting point. The mounting point can be either wrap or bolt, the most common being wrapped around a harnessbar. This harness is perfect for someone who's still using stock seats, but wants a safe harness solution for track driving in a car where access to the back seat is not necessary, or in cars with no backseats to begin with. The Schroth Rallye 4 is the de facto standard for anyone looking for a simple, clean, DOT-approved and Safe 4 point harness. The technology built into the harness puts it in a category above the belts made by other manufacturers. The years of testing and motorsport experience only give credit to what the engineers have been saying all along. There are two main reasons why the Schroth Belts are the only safe 4 point harnesses: ASM technology and the ability to install the belts to stock harness mounting locations. ASM stands for Anti-SubMarining. It's an extra flap of material sewn into the inboard shoulder belt that prevents you from sliding underneath the lap belt. In a 4 point harness made by some other company, the two shoulder straps restrain your upper body equally. They keep your chest from moving forward. However, this also pulls up on the lap belt and allows your accelerating pelvis to slide under the lap belt and cause serious damage to your stomach and intestines. With ASM, one of the shoulder belts will elongate at a different rate which will force your pelvis down into the seat cushion. Upon rebound, you will be placed back in an upright position with the belt correctly placed over your body. The advantages of being able to mount an aftermarket 4 point harness to stock mounting locations are many. First and foremost is the knowledge that these points have been load tested. This means that the manufacturer of your vehicle engineered the points to be able to withstand some truly amazing forces for a specified length of time. In plain English this means that the bolts won't pull out of the sheet metal. It also means (in the case of a Schroth Harness) that you can retain the use of your stock 3-point harness, allowing you the use of the backseat of your car. If you have the need to transport passengers (or cargo) in your backseat, it is possible to disconnect the tailstrap (a feature only Schroth has) and use your normal 3 point harness. These are plastic dowels that can be put through those loops to give something firm to grab on to when adjusting the belts.
