The Girodisc system is an upgrade to a two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination and is a direct replacement for the OEM brake discs. The two-piece floating rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly.
By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Girodisc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.
When used with Pagid or PFC racing brake pads and Discovery Parts RF1 racing brake fluid, you have an unbeatable solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors.
The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron, constructed in the USA and made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations.
