RECERTIFICATION EXAMPLE
If, for instance, your device was last certified in April 2020, you'll need to get it recertified before May 1, 2025. Recertification typically consists of cleaning, damage inspection, and installation of a brand new tether system.
A HANS device passing inspection gets a new SFI 38.1 compliance sticker punched with the new date of certification. This device will now be valid for five years.

The DS3000 compound is a legacy compound with over 25 years of championships due to its predictability and repeatability. The Ferodo DS3000 is a very popular brake pad for vintage racers as the compound characteristics allow for extended disc life at the expense of pad wear. If you have a track car with expensive or hard to replace brake discs, the Ferodo DS3000 is a great choice.The average coefficient of friction of the Ferodo DS3000 is 0.48µ across the workable range of 392 to 1202 F. The cold friction coefficient starts at 0.40µ at 302 and reaches the peak of 0.51µ at 1022 F. This makes for a pad that is great on the early laps of a sprint race but still has the torque needed to maintain consistent pedal feel across a wide temperature range. The Carbotech 1521 is our high performance street compound. The 1521 compound is known for its release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. 1521 is also a very low dusting and low noise compound with an excellent initial bite. This compound's excellent linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Carbotech 1521 operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 800 F (426 C+). 1521 is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle or fleet vehicle. Carbotech 1521â is NOT recommended for ANY track use.
Carbotech AX6
The AX6 is specifically engineered for Autocross applications. A high torque brake compound delivering reliable and consistent performance over a very wide operating temperature range of 50 F to 1000 F + (10 C to 537 C+). The advanced compound matrix provides an excellent initial bite, high coefficient of friction at lower temperatures along with very progressive brake modulation and release characteristics. Many drivers use the AX6 for street driving as well, even though Carbotech doesn't recommend street driving with AX6 due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. AX6â is NOT recommended as a race compound in most applications.
Carbotech XP8
A high torque brake compound with a wide operating temperature range of 200 F-1250 F+ (93 C to 676 C+). Carbotech XP8â is the first of our racing compounds. A D.O.T.-approved high-performance compound for brake shoes on high performance street vehicles and race cars. Carbotechâ Kelated Metallic (CKM) achieves a very high coefficient of friction (approx. 0.48 to 0.50) by taking advantage of a chemical reaction within the friction mass, which creates a tri-alloy metallic film at the liner/drum interface when subjected to heat and pressure. Designed to overcome the shortcomings of other liner materials, CKM is a very versatile and provides excellent braking performance in a wide variety of applications. Excellent wear characteristics and a very high resistance to lock-up under hard braking. Optimal recommended operating temperature range is from ambient to 750 F.

Pagid RSL 19 Compound:
The PAGID RSL 19 (Yellow) is a world-leading endurance brake pad used by many of the winning teams in motorsport. It is common in rear axle usage in combination with RSL 1 or RSL 2 on the front axle in heavier cars (GT3/GTE), as well as front axle usage for lighter GT and touring cars. RSL 19 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers. It maintains a constant friction level across a broad range of temperatures. The material features very good modulation and release characteristics.
Pagid RSL 1 Compound:
Used in GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Due to the high friction and good modulation, often used in sprint races as well. RSL 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers with very high heat resistance. It maintains a constant friction level over a wide range of temperatures. Its reduced wear rate and disc friendliness make this material appropriate for endurance races.
Pagid RST 3 Compound:
RST 3 is a medium-high friction metal-ceramic compound containing steel fibers and is therefore the perfect complement of the RST product family. It captivates by its low heat conductivity. Rally tarmac and gravel, GT cars, touring cars and prototype circuit racing, formula cars and club racing. Wide range of applications due to it‘s combination of bite, friction and controllability.

This is Lifeline's entry level AFFF system meeting most 5lbs suppressant requirements, however it is does not carry an SFI or FIA certification. This system utilizes a steel bottle with mechanical activation and employs two nozzles: one in the engine bay, one in the cockpit. It is best suited for open wheel, formula, and small-cockpit prototypes where space is limited. This system is designed to meet the need for a cost-effective, plumbed-in system that is more effective than a handheld (or waiting for track safety personnel).
Lifeline Zero 2000 systems are constructed using only the finest materials and are supplied complete with all of the components required for a professional installation. This system, like all Lifeline systems, performed supremely well in engine fire tests, and thus has the full acceptance of the MSA.
