Chillout Systems 4" Carbon Fiber NACA Duct (Dual)
$302.00
Chillout Systems 4" Carbon Fiber Dual NACA Duct
Ultra lightweight and wind tunnel tested, the Chillout 4" Carbon Fiber Dual NACA Duct provides over 55% more airflow than a standard 3" NACA duct. Used in conjunction with Chillout 4" Neoprene Air Duct Hose and a 4" plenum, the 4" Carbon Fiber Dual NACA Duct maximizes the cooling efficiency of your driver cooling system.
WHY USE NACA DUCTS AT ALL?
NACA ducts bring air into a vehicle with a minimal increase in drag. The purpose of a NACA duct is to increase the flow rate of air while not disturbing the boundary layer. When the cross-sectional flow area of the duct is increased, you decrease static pressure and make the duct into a vacuum cleaner, minus the drag effects of a traditional scoop. A NACA duct starts narrow then widens in a graceful arc to increase the cross-sectional area slowly, so exterior boundary air flow doesn’t separate to cause turbulence and drag.

Chillout Systems Carbon Fiber Air Duct Plenum
Forcing fresh air to your cooler is the most efficient way to increase cooling performance and reduce amp draw from your electrical system. This plenum fits perfectly to the intake side of your Quantum Cooler, allowing much cooler air to be forced through the system via any four-inch duct (cooler, ducting, and intake scoop not included). A minimum 150 CFM blower (sold separately) should be used in conjunction with the plenum in order to cool properly.
KEEPS YOUR QUANTUM COOLER...COOLER
This carbon fiber plenum attaches via automotive-grade adhesive tape, creating a firm seal to keep the cooler pressurized with incoming cool air. This forces cool air all the way through the system and back out the exhaust side of the cooler, the most efficient way to reach maximum cooling capacity.
Coupling the Chillout Systems Air Duct Plenum with your Quantum Cooler ensures no cool air is wasted, maximizing the effectiveness of the system.
