GiroDisc Rotor Hat:
The GiroDisc front central is manufactured using aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum. Less weight creates a huge advantage in acceleration and braking. Anyone who has spent the money for a lightweight double disk clutch kit with aluminum flywheel knows the importance of rotating mass. Using a lightweight rotor kit allows the brakes to decelerate the vehicle not the rotor.
GiroDisc Floating Rotor Ring:
Quality hi-carbon cast iron is the foundation of every GiroDisc brake rotor. Every rotor ring is made carefully in house at the GiroDisc factory in Washington state. The GiroDisc rotor utilizes a curved vane design that was originally developed in racing to act as a centrifugal air pump to force cooling air from the center of the rotor ring to the outside. This principle is similar to what is know as a squirrel cage fan design. By having impellers (vanes) between the two rotor faces, the air is moved radially, from the center outward, changing the direction of the airflow and increasing velocity. GiroDisc Rotor Ring Hardware:
The GiroDisc rotor ring and light-wight aluminum hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 8 or 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These drive pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The drive pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.
GiroDisc Rotor Ring Replacement:
Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed. Your GiroDisc replacement rotor rings come complete with 2 new rotor rings and all required floating rotor hardware. This is a very simple task that is quite fun. The aluminum rotor hat usually does not ever need replacement unless bent or damaged. If you damaged has reached your GiroDisc hat, you almost have quite a bunch of other things to replace also. The hat is rugged and overly strong.

Those cameras straighten out the view ahead: when on track, the corners simply disappear. So, when you wish to check your track performance, those videos are useless, because the images are distorted. Being a camera dedicated to motorsports, your AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa features lenses specifically designed to avoid distortion.
The AiM SmartyCam3 Corsa is available in one of two fields-of-view: 67° or 84°.
REAL-TIME DATA OVERLAY

It was originally developed by Forgeline to debut on an award-winning 64 Corvette Coupe project commissioned by Barry Blomquist.
The RS6 is a custom made-to-order three-piece wheel that is produced from forged 6061-T6 aluminum centers with heat-treated rim-shells and American-made stainless-steel ARP fasteners (in your choice of exposed through-bolt or hidden bolts with Heli-Coil inserts). This Girodisc two-piece floating rotor system is a direct replacement for the OEM cast iron brake rotors on the C8 Z06 Corvette. The Girodisc two-piece rotors will bolt directly to the C8 Z06 and work perfectly with OEM calipers. By upgrading your C8 Z06 brakes to these lightweight, high-performance replacements -- as opposed to a big brake kit -- your factory brake bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. These Girodisc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces, reducing rotational and unsprung mass for quicker acceleration, sharper suspension response, and better brake feel.
When used with Pagid or PFC high-performance brake pads and RF1 racing brake fluid, this Girodisc rotor system gives you an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors.
