The Ferodo DS3.12 is identified with production code "G" and is the latest evolution in the Ferodo's DS track-only brake pad line. Designed for Hyper, Super and modern sports cars that have increased horsepower, more aero, higher curb weight, and stickier tires. These attributes all place greater demands on the vehicle’s ABS system. The Ferodo DS3.12 is the modern pad compound designed from the start to explicitly handle those demands. Out of all the pad compounds we have ever tested, even from manufacturers, the DS3.12 shows the flattest torque curve across the broadest temperature range. That means that on every turn, on every track you drive, on every lap, your brake pedal is going to feel almost exactly the same, providing tremendous consistency and repeatability. The DS3.12 has a higher mu than all of Ferodo’s other compounds, so not as much leg pressure is required to initiate the desired response. It is also unfadable, showing no drop in performance at any temp your brakes will ever see. In dyno testing, the DS3.12 has shown superior wear rates to the other Ferodo compounds, while remaining kind to the discs. We believe the DS3.12 will become the gold standard to which other race compounds will be compared. Ferodo FRP3014GB Front Axle Fitment: AP Racing CP9668

Chillout Systems 4
Chillout Systems Chillout Systems 4" Carbon Fiber NACA Duct (Dual) $225.00
Chillout Systems 4" Carbon Fiber Dual NACA Duct Ultra lightweight and wind tunnel tested, the Chillout 4" Carbon Fiber Dual NACA Duct provides over 55% more airflow than a standard 3" NACA duct. Used in conjunction with Chillout 4" Neoprene Air Duct Hose and a 4" plenum, the 4" Carbon Fiber Dual NACA Duct maximizes the cooling efficiency of your driver cooling system. WHY USE NACA DUCTS AT ALL? NACA ducts bring air into a vehicle with a minimal increase in drag. The purpose of a NACA duct is to increase the flow rate of air while not disturbing the boundary layer. When the cross-sectional flow area of the duct is increased, you decrease static pressure and make the duct into a vacuum cleaner, minus the drag effects of a traditional scoop. A NACA duct starts narrow then widens in a graceful arc to increase the cross-sectional area slowly, so exterior boundary air flow doesn’t separate to cause turbulence and drag. A1-242 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (C8 Corvette)
Girodisc A1-242 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (C8 Corvette) $1,050.00
Discovery Parts is an Authorized dealer for GiroDisc products and we are one of the largest stocking dealers in the country. We ship most products same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. Fits Corvette C8 The GiroDisc system is a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc. The 2-piece floating disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Giro Disc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces. The reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and Discovery Parts RF-1 brake fluid (also available from CompetitionMotorsport.com), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron which is constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The 2-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement as well to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling. Sold/Priced per pair.
